I had Gerrard as my instructor and he was very professional/knew his material, bubbly and very informative, kind, patient and friendly. T.Great experience here, friendly customer service from the receptionist as well as the testing officers, they have a very professional manner. Roads can get abit busy during rush hour time. So make sure to plan ahead.
A.The service at this vtnz is superb. The staff is very polite and helpful. They give all information you need for driver licence quarries. Plenty of waiting area and toys for kids.
Coffee machine is broken though. Otherwise all is good.
M.I don’t know if it’s justice to give low rating due to one person attitude? That’s why I am keeping 3* rating instead of one because there are many good people at this branch too. Sad experience here, the officer blond and small hair, took my wife restricted test was rude and angry because of some reason and came out from office frustrated. May be she was overloaded with work or her senior officer given her warning on her attitude. Same test done at WIRI branch and officer was so nice and explained the mistake politely. It’s not right people pay money to get service and they provide service with harsh attitude and represents whole branch.
K.I had Victoria, she was excellent with communication and all. Passed my Full license with use definitely recommend.

S.Very organized VTNZ branch. I had my driving test here this morning and my testing officer, Tanya or Tammy Patterson, gave a 5-min quick review of the do's & don'ts and what to expect during the entire test. She is very nice and friendly with a very pleasant aura which made me feel at ease and confident during my driving test. After a 20-min drive around, she gave me a happy congratulations for passing my test! What a relief!
Also, my husband did his driving test here a month ago with James (testing officer), and he also passed. He told me that the expectations were explained to him very well, there was also a quick review and James made him feel at ease -- pretty much the same of what I've experienced.

V.Got my restricted here, Want to thank Donald who was my instructor, he was amazing with giving directions and was very calm. Very patient and ideal instructor for someone who gets very nervous. Definitely recommend the team here, and Donald who makes you feel very comfortable during the drive and clearly explains any errors and improvements needed.
Happy to pass my restricted test.

m.5/5 would recommend! Today I was at the VTNZ to sit my restricted license and i had Deano as my driving instructor. I can't express enough on how he made me feel relaxed and confident within my own self. Which really help't me pass! Great atmosphere and I would recommend anyone to Deano. Thank you so much!

Today was one of the best encounters with VTNZ.
K.Manager Brett and inspector Brad could not have been more helpful with the recommissioning of my 1964 Rover which had been off the road for 32 years, the inspection and paperwork completed smoothly.

L.As usual VTNZ Staff triumph . The staff in the customer service should all be given medals, pay rise and appreciation from management as it gets very busy and chaotic very fast yet these women are fantastically Kool calm and professional they should be in charge of the Ministry of Health lol.
The mechanics have always impressed me both at pukekohe and takanini VTNZ but today I was so impressed and delighted by the friendly PROFESSIONAL and genuinely thoughtful staff especially Rakesh and his younger assistant who went beyond their call of duty by sorting the wires and light bulbs in my trailer so I was able to get my WOF.I live rural so it would’ve meant I would’ve had to have a day off work to take trailer in to get work done that they did Free of charge at VTNZ.
I am incredibly thankful and am left with only positive thoughts re VTNZ .Obviously a company that employ good decent hardworking people.

I.One of the best VTNZ. Very friendly and helpful staffs, called to change my personalised plates to standard. The guy in the office helped me by going to check the plate range. I had a difficult customer who didn't want plate which had 4 and 7. After 4 attempts at other VTNZ. This was the only VTNZ who went above and beyond to help me out by checking the plate range they had and even offered to skip number plate of 4 or 7 if it did come in the range. Thanks once again.
P.First time ever my last vist was good, the staff just did there job and not like every other visit to a vtnz, pick on every little unnecessary thing, I hope they stay like this

J.No complaints about this place. Park your car with the keys in and wait inside. The staff move your car forwards and do the check. Very easy and hassle free. Staff are helpful. They offer heaps of other services to.

A.Great place. Good quality checks, but you get what you pay for. Be prepared to wait, thorough checks and 1 lane for regular vehicles (on 2 occasions for me). Lucky free self serve coffee on site and staff are really friendly.
D.Been dealing with VTNZ for years now both with my personal car and my trucks before I retired. Have always found the staff friendly and helpful and would recommend VTNZ to anyone wanting a safety check on their vehicle and friendly advice.
Went for a wof on my Jaguar today. Nothings changed, same old reliable, friendly service.

J.One of the nicer VTNZ’s, plenty of parking both street side and onsite. The car parks onsite are a tad on the tight side. The staff were professional but approachable and friendly. Office is well set out, clean and tidy.

G.Girls at the front desk are very helpful and great to deal with. The WOF inspectors are a little bit trying though. I know they are only doing their job though. Would not recommend if you have an older or quirky car and sagest you take it to someone more enthusiastic about automobiles.

D.Have spent a lot of time at VTNZ with our commercial trucks. I dealt with a South African man named Andre on the 6th August 2019. He was extremely helpful and wonderful to deal with! I was very apprehensive going back to VTNZ Pukekohe as previously I had dealt with a man with a long grey beard - he was not only rude to me, but very condescending to other staff members, belittling them in front of me. So Andre was a pleasure to deal with.
J.Excellent service. Staff are very friendly. Needs a changing area for mums/dads with babies hence the 4 stars but can't complain as its not the normal place where you would expect infants.
V.The young girl that help us at 2nd visit was very good and kind to us but the first guy was rude to my partner not very helpful at all he said he had to have a bank statement try to tell him he live 40 minutes away so I got on phone and rang the car/lic people on phone she gave us a reference no so I took him back inside explain what I got told on phone and she gave him a replace c/l till the new one come in mail so yes to young girl who help and big no to man that was rude

S.Easy way to sort your WOF and registration. Parking is pretty tight so if reversing out of tight spots is not your thing then it's probably a good idea to park on the roadside.
If you are a first time WOF bod ... park your vehicle in the queue then go inside and sort the payment.
G.Went for WOF midweek. No queue, check was half done before I had even finished paying. Good advice given by tester, who even found my 'spare key' under the window wipers.
a.What a wonderful lady as compared to auckland staff a much good staff in here than auckland polite kind her name was victoria p instead she failed me but still i will say wonderful service.

T.Good service and experience at pukekohe vtnz but the car park is dangerous with vehicles waiting in line to be seen to backing out onto the road and for someone who is only sitting restricted to try to back out where there is barely enough room for the most experienced of drivers this could be very daunting and dangerous

A.VTNZ Pukekohe is a very busy and popular place. I would suggest you go there prepared. Have all documentation filled in correctly. Make yourself a cup of coffee (self service - no cost) while you are waiting. Just remember - if you fail for one reason or another - It is not their fault.... It is yours - So no naughty words eh!

R.Went to VTNZ Pukekohe for my Full Drivers license conversion after my failed attempts at Wiri and Manukau. Unlike Wiri and Manukau the Lady Examiner was really nice and very professional. Asked me a few questions about the vehicle and then the Test was done. Did my best in the Test and I got passed and she told me where I need to be improved. I am very relived that I passed my Driving Test today. If you are going for the Test in Pukekohe Remember your stop signs, Speed limits, Roundabout signals and looking over your shoulder when changing lanes and moving to flush medians. All the best
