I was provided superb service from the team at Lang Automotive, from a straightforward and informative booking until the service I needed on my car was completed. The staff were friendly and accommodating to my needs and questions when picking up my car, and even took it for a WOF recheck. I had rung many mechanics in the area for quotes and most were double the price for the same job, LANG even stayed with the quoted price given to me before booking. We own a small campervan company based in Auckland. One of our vans had a potential issue and I arranged with David over the phone for him to take a look. Calling from Auckland I was nervous that I was unable to see the problem myself and trust a mechanic to give me a reliable diagnosis. David took a look and confirmed all was OK and sent our travelers on there way. He didn't charge anything for his time despite doing a thorough inspection. Great service. Thanks David!

Literally the best machanic around. We had three cars done service, and one car repaired here. David is very knowledgable, reliable, and fair on price. The only drawback is he is too busy! I had to go to another mechanic when David told me the next reservation needed to be half a month later. From the other mechanic, I got an $200 bill, and the same problem came out on the same day. I had to come back to ask David's suggestion.

Mark and Chris took amazing care of our van after we cooked our brakes going down a mountain. They we able to save our brake pads, which saved us money. It’s not often that you leave a mechanics feeling good, but we left with a smile on our face. Thanks guys!

Easily, the best mechanic in Queenstown. He is busy so don't demand to be a priority. If you drive an expensive Mercedes or a cheap 91 Toyota he will treat you the same way. Never saw Dave refusing any work. Good man!

Dave is an honest man, if you need repairs he's the guy. We bombed our Wof with some major rust spots and needed new tires, fix an exhaust leak, and front suspension. They worked fast and we payed the price he quoted us. Never felt for a minute that he was trying to haggle us and that he genuinely wanted to help us pass the wof. We even came back to find he drove the van to vtnz to pass it for us!! Thanks again Dave, Ian and Annie
