S.The best experience I have EVER had with a mechanic.. Communication was great, friendly customer service. Everything was done to a high standard and no work done without consultation. First time I have had a service where they had actually given accurate feedback on what work your car requires. Followed up by an email quote, excellent all round! Couldn't recommend more!!

C.I cannot thank the team here enough for all there help! My car busted out on me three times in a matter of weeks which was super stressful because I was moving cities and had deadlines to get the car fixed. The team heard my struggles and I could tell by their service that they were doing their best to accommodate my needs. The service is amazing, they really do go above and beyond. Something that is so helpful is no matter how busy they are, they will take the time to listen to you and make something work where they can. Everyone is also really nice, honest, and genuine good people. I would highly recommend this mechanic company to anyone.
S.On holiday and had a problem with my car, Mark and Graham went above and beyond to help and got me back on the road even though they were busy and booked for 3 days. Friendly service and very reasonable, thanks guys you saved me a lot of worry, can't rate Queenstown auto highly enough.
F.Went here after I drove over a big metal piece laying on the ground that messed quite a bit up on the bottom site. They had a look instantly and were super helpful, showed me everything that got damaged and gave honest unfortunate news that it would be way too much to fix it considering the age of my car. But even then offered a lot of help, let me leave the car there until I sorted everything out and even drove me to the bus stop. All in all I was lucky in the unlucky situation ending up there.
M.These guys were absolute legends. We were on a roady coming down the west coast from Wellington and started having car troubles. (Indicator fuse popping, clunking). We pulled up to the shop on Christmas eve when the lads had knocked off desperate to get some help and they took time out of their day to help us. They quickly fault checked and sorted out the issues. Thank you so much guys, without you our Holiday would have been ruined. Really appreciate the help.
M.I can't recommend Queenstown Auto Services enough... I've been twice now and the service I've received here is exceptional. They're mechanics I can trust to get the job done fast but with care, and they've always been very generous with their services. I'll be back and continue spreading the good word!

S.Not having a designated mechanic in Queenstown yet I did some research on a few different mechanics in the Frankton area. I had a few options to go to, but was SUPER impressed with the professionalism and patience from Mark with regards to what I wanted to have serviced and when. The organisation of booking times and letting me know if and when the car could be picked up was also important in order for me to sort out work if the car needed to be kept over night. Some mechanics are not so upfront about that. I was very happy to get a professional quote with all the costs of some fixes needing to be done and how long some parts would take so that I could plan accordingly. I don't like to be rushed and like things to be explained to me especially not having too much knowledge, so when I asked, Mark was happy enough to explain things to me and with me so that I left understanding everything I needed to know. Happy with the service, I will be heading back to get more work on my car sorted, my partner's car will also be serviced there and I will happily recommend Queenstown Auto Services to others 100% and will continue to keep bringing my car back to be serviced when needed. Thanks to the mechanics and Mark for the great customer service.

So so friendly being a female it can sometimes be very intimidating going to take your car into the garage but they make you feel so welcome and comfortable! Hence why I have returned each time!
They have fixed my headlight if I just drive in they’ve done work on my car so quickly to get it up and running for a WOF they’ve even taken my car over to the WOF centre to discuss why it was failed on something that was working so I didn’t have to go back myself and question it all I did was wait in the reception area at the garage While they sorted it and well the WOF centre passed it! They honestly go beyond exceptional customer service!
Always can have a laugh with them and they always call me with quotes before doing anything!
I couldn’t go anywhere else!

J.Amazing service and value! Queenstown Auto provided a quick and quality routine service, which they squeezed in for us during a very busy week in order to accommodate our travel plans. The service was very affordable and reliable, and they found that we needed to have our radiator replaced. We had plans to travel outside of Queenstown that week, and were not sure how to coordinate having the part replaced while we were away. The mechanics were extremely generous and helpful, and not only searched for a part for us, but also let us leave our van parked at their shop while we travelled, and then had the part replaced by the time we got back! Such genuine and friendly employees, really looking to help you. Would highly recommend!

They helped turn a complicated warranty claim into a breeze, handling the fix and the claim quickly and expertly. All we had to do was pick the car up when it was finished! J.Really good service from Mark and the mechanics. Honest work with fair prices. There are many others here in Queenstown that don't tell u the truth, but this one is awesome.
L.Queenstown Auto went above and beyond to help us get a replacement radiator. We secured the radiator with help from the company we originally purchased the van through and the guys at QTA went through painstaking effort to make sure the part would fit and function correctly. They went as far as to have the part supplier take photos of the radiator, with a ruler for scale, to make sure it would be an exact match. Not to mention they stored our vehicle for 5 days and called us frequently with status updates! The price was fair and the workmanship topnotch. I would not recommend anywhere else!

A.Would highly recommend this mechanic. All staff were super kind and Marc made sure that he explained everything to me in detail. After fixing up my car they even took it for a WOF check as a courtesy, I was really impressed. Very trustworthy and professional team, they really know their stuff.
V.Just after NY, my van had a major complication with the steering. I went to Marc and his team, despite the fact they were really busy, they took the time to explain me hat was going on and the different scenarios to fix the problem. They filled the power steering fluid before I left and I was much more confident taking the road. I have never received such a professional and honest advice visiting a garage.
N.Marc and the team at Queenstown Auto are THE mechanics to see in Otago. If you read no further just know that not only is your vehicle in capable honest hands but their goal is to ensure customer satisfaction. I've never been more sure that I wasn't being taken advantage for repair work.
This team went above and beyond for me. I dropped my Subaru Legacy off after receiving a very fair quote for replacing a steering rack end and a tie rod. I actually drove from Wanaka to them as this was the best quote by far and my friends had only great things to say about this team. I received a call from Marc not long after dropping it off letting me know that my car needed A LOT more work than originally discussed. Yet I've never felt more luckier to have such a negative call. Instead of beginning work and leaving me stranded with a broken car away from home their team recognized they needed more parts and the job required more labor. Just incredible, any other shop could have absolutely rinsed me there. What followed was an honest conversation if the car was worth all the work needed and it was so utterly about what was best for me, not just what was best for their company. As if speaking to an old friend about genuine options- Thank you again for this Marc.
From there we proceeded with the necessary work basically rebuilding my entire steering unit. I dropped my car off late and still they finished the job earlier than expected! Just an amazing shop, I have nothing but great things to say about them and will certainly be going back to double check my car is road trip ready prior to any long drives!
C.A bit pushy, plus they didn’t call me when my car was ready. Then when I called they told me it was ready, it wasn’t, I had to wait an extra 20min.
I went for a service and went home with an extra $1,700 quote for diverse repairs. Gonna double check it and edit my review here after that.
Other than that price was ok and the team seemed nice.
B.I originally got quoted by GWD a 2.3k quote to change my drive shaft which had blown CV joints. I had asked them if there was any cheaper way to do the job using a aftermarket part. They told me no, I went to talk to Marc who was recommended to me by Hire Pool.. He quoted the exact same job for $750 using an aftermarket part. When I told GWD they told me it wouldnt fit my vehicle but Marc was confident and talked me through everything so I knew what was happening, I moved my vehicle to his garage where fitted the part (which fitted perfectly) as soon as he could. The whole way through the process, I trusted he was doing everything at my best interest and was being honest, I would HIGHLY recommend this garage.
J.The guys at Queenstown auto services went above and beyond to help get me fixed up to pass my wof. They gave me a lift when it was pooling with rain and also dropped my car off to go through its wof saving me heaps of time and effort.
Couldn't speak higher of the people working there. Fast efficient and down to earth!

While another mechanic quickly identified that it was going into the engine, the team here carried out two tests to actually see where the leak is and whether something is getting into the engine. Turns out it doesn't! Instead of $ 2000 and weeks of repairs, the new part only cost us $ 30! In addition, we had an all-round service that resulted in a long list of problems. The team took their time, explained every single point, answered all of our questions and marked what needs to be fixed most urgently. Although they were fully booked until the next week, they put us in between for the week so that we could travel on as early as possible. All repairs were done professionally and with good quality. Excellent and transparent customer service. They give good advice on what actually needs to be repaired and are not like others just looking for money. We would recommend it to everyone!

Der beste Mechaniker, den wir bis jetzt in Neuseeland hatten! Unser 1995 Campervan hat über Wochen Kühlflüssigkeit verloren. Während ein anderer Mechaniker schnell identifiziert hat, dass es in den Motor geht, hat hier das Team zwei Tests durchgeführt, um tatsächlich zu gucken wo das Leck ist und ob etwas in den Motor kommt. Zusätzlich haben wir noch einen rundum Service machen lassen, bei dem eine lange Liste an Problemen raus kam. Das Team hat sich Zeit genommen, jeden einzelnen Punkt erklärt, uns alle Fragen beantwortet und markiert, was am dringendsten behoben werden muss. Obwohl sie bis zur nächsten Woche ausgebucht waren, haben sie uns noch für die Woche dazwischen geschoben, damit wir so früh wie möglich weiter reisen konnten. Alle Reparaturen wurden professionell und mit guter Qualität durchgeführt. Exzellenter und transparenter Kundenservice. Sie geben gute Beratungen, was tatsächlich nötig ist zu reparieren und sind nicht wie andere nur nach Geld aus. Wir würden ihn jedem empfehlen!
