Best garage around by far. Greg is incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful, always managing to save the day when we run into car problems. Repairs everything to a very high standard, and can provide easily understandable explanations even for someone with no knowledge of cars!

Got help from a gentleman here a couple of months ago. Admittedly it was an electronic/mechanic job, so not the nicest task to come across. Did an excellent job even negotiated with another business down the road to help replace my broken windscreen. Would recommend to others

The only place to get sound, mechanical advice for Jaguar, I own a low milage X-Type. Greg, his wife and team owner operators are friendly and very knowledgeable with European Cars. A+++ Recommendation

Rate 5 star for exceptional service. The mechanic is very knowledgeable and isn’t gonna scam you into paying lots of money for things that don’t even need fixing. We’ve been here 5 times in the last 2 years, and we now trust them. They’re honest people and always have a good catch up when we’re there. We would recommend them to friends and whānau.

A+++ service! The mechanics are GREAT! gives good advice about the problems and explains everything. I have been here 3times always great service! They fixed the issues on my car now I have my WOF! I said I needed car back before 3pm and they made sure it was ready to go and called me to pick car up way before 3pm. This will be my regular go to Mechanics. Very honest and happy people. Awesome Job! Very nice and honest people! We came to the garage with the fear to pay houndrets of $, but they took us this fear, explained us everything and probably saved us a lot of money. If we have another issue with our van we definitely will come back!

They’ve done an amazing job on the car. We are 2 girls traveling around in NZ and they made sure the car was good to go for us to drive safely. They spend a lot of time on it, they explained us everything properly. The price was really fair. Honest and professional , amazing people. I recommend ++. Thank you again guys !

My friend and I came here last minute as we were backpackers who bought a car with some issues. Greg and his daughter went above and beyond for us! They treated us as family and stayed after hours to help us to make sure we could get back on the road that evening! I would highly recommend coming to see them as they are friendly, helpful and completely competent at dealing with all car issues! Thanks to them we were able to continue on our road trip without breaking the bank!

Excellent service and complete transparency. The mechanic I saw was very knowledgeable and familiar with europen cars, he also took the time to show me what the issue was, explain in technical terms and then put it in a way I could understand. Highly recommend!

I had the best experience at this mechanic. I'm from out of town and by chance found Gear Heads Garage on a google search. The customer service was amazing!!!!! The lady at reception was so personable. When I picked my car up from Gear heads Garage it felt like it drove so nicely. Hands down the best experience I've ever had at a mechanic. I live in Tauranga but will continue to take my car here in the future as my experience was that good. Highly recommend!

We were sent to Gearheads by our camper van company after experiencing engine oil issues. Straight off the bat we were welcomed with a friendly face and fantastic customer service! The vehicle was thoroughly checked before a diagnoses was given. We really couldn’t have asked for more from Gearheads! First class service!

Could not be happier with our experience at Gearheads! We had trouble with our van and they were so considerate with their time, explained exactly what needed to be done and all in a price that was more than fair. The nicest people you will ever meet who will do their best to get you back on the road in no time! Don't waste your time in any other garage in Rotorua!!

We bought an older Jaguar with a few issues recently. Left it for the day at Gearheads and couldn't be happier. Sorted out current problems at a reasonable cost but also such super friendly service from the owner to the receptionist. Won't be taking my car anywhere else in Rotorua except Gearheads in future.

Shane is a top bloke. He took the time to consult about repairs needed, and charges fair rates. He's helped us get back on the road and we have a fair idea now if what we may need done in the future. I've just found our new regular mechanic. I can't recommend more highly.
