Great experience with these guys. Helped us out with a radiator replacement over the Xmas/New Years break even though they didn't have to. Very quick turn around, reasonable cost, friendly and honest. Can't recommend highly enough.

We had an issue with our campervan while on holiday. Not only he was the only person willing to help during the Christmas break, but he went above and beyond to do everything he could for us. Very knowledgeable, professional and kind. Five stars are not enough to rate his services; 10/5 is more adequate for orange mechanical.

Strange experience as a customer and potential employee so far. They are stressed and still do a good job and provide an amazing service. I hope you get what you are looking for into 2022

Kirsty went above and beyond to help us out renting a car for a day so we could enjoy our holidays in Takaka. The car was also in good condition and absolutely no hassle to get the keys and drop off. Again, thank you so much for your kindness, prompt responses and willingness to help. Certainly one of our highlights in Takaka. Definitely will be in touch when we visit Takaka again.

Turned up because I put wrong fuel in tank. Michael was the mechanic and dealt with the problem straight away. Awesome service from both mechanic and lovely lady behind the counter (sorry didn't get her name). Highly recommend this garage.

Received a long distance tow from Orange. The staff member was really friendly, knowledgeable and responded quickly, very pleased with the service

Brilliant team and service.Got me nicely out of a vehicle pickle,complete with tow/pickup.We had a plan B also which involved use of one of their rental vehicles.Much appreciated,all the best,cheers

We had a problem with our radiator the day before cylone Gita struck (Nissan Serena). We took our vehicle into Orange mechanical where Ian immediately identified the problem - A screwdriver stuck in the radiator having been jolted free of its hiding place on the trip out to farewell spit, left in the engine by an Auckland mechanic! Ian immediately set about organising a replacement radiator which arrived in remarkable time given we were, by then, cut off by the infamous Gita.Great job Ian! Plane, train, space shuttle and barge finally saw the arrival of a brand new radiator from Auckland which was awesomely installed in an hour and a half by Nathan - Nathan we escaped Takaka, travelled the length of the south Island including the Homer tunnel and crown range and back to the North Island with the old girl purring all the way - great job! Last but not least, many thanks also to Cheryl in the office for getting that radiator through! Orange motors is a NZ garage with service and standards that are difficult to find in the North Island these days - HIGHLY RECOMMENED!

Last year the van started making a noise as I went over the hill - took it to these guys who found the culprit and fixed it in 30 mins. 6 Months later, the noise is back so I contacted them to see if they had the paperwork that described the problem - it wasn't in the computer system, but Sheryl took time out of her day to search through paperwork and eventually found it. I really appreciate the help! Thanks.
