E.After our car started steaming whilst driving around karagahake gorge we phoned Mortons garage and they were able to book us in straight away and were more than happy to help. Excellent, friendly service and great value. As we were are backpackers they also offered us advice of the best places to work. Would recommend whole heartedly.
A.Mortons Garage is actually at 19 Haszard St, Waihi. Craig at Mortons Garage is a top bloke. We turned up unexpectedly with our vehicle and Craig gave us 100 percent service. The whole team were friendly and welcoming.
J.Our car broke down in the gorge and Craig was able to take a look at it last minister on a Friday and lent us a loan car for the weekend so we could continue our trip. Fast service and going the extra mile. Highly recommend.
E.We limped in to Morton’s with a suspected blown head gasket on our van after owning it a grand total of 4 days. Craig identified the problem immediately and told us that it could be an expensive and time-consuming job. Despite our horrible predicament, Craig and Karen couldn’t have been any more helpful, cheerful, patient, supporting and generous to us. They lent us a car to get around and let us stay in the yard all week while we waited for parts. Being AA-certified, Craig is a highly experienced top-level mechanic with every tool for the job, and was very thorough and patient in explaining the work he was doing on the van. Craig kept our spirits up with friendly banter and fixed up our motor as fast as he possibly could. In the end the bill was very reasonable considering the amount of work we had done. The after-sales service was excellent, Craig being available to answer any questions we had about the van after we left the garage. We’ll be returning to do our WOF there, and can’t thank Craig and Karen enough for looking after us for a week, they turned our nightmare in to a positive experience and treated us like their own family. Couldn’t recommend them any higher.
T.Our motorhome broke down in Waihi, brakes stopped working. Tried every garage in Waihi, nobody had time or would do it, only Craig even though fully booked was accommodating and helpful. He managed to squeeze us in, even let us stay in his yard. The fixes were done in very reasonable time considering the parts had to be ordered and how busy he was. Thank you again Craig & Karen!
A.Totally agree with Justine's comment bellow, I came there to fix my light, Craig was very nice !
I didn't booked, he fixed my problem very quickly, had a quick look to some other points on my car that made me a bit worried, and didn't charged me for that. I wanted to give a small tip cause he was really nice and saved my day but he refused.
Even gave me some advices to find some motor oil cheaper than if I wanted to buy some here !
Seems totally trustworthy, professional and very nice person !

P.I have received amazing service from Craig and the team at Morton's. I have got them to bring two farm vehicles back up to road standard which was not an easy undertaking. They were extremely pleasant to deal with throughout and I would happily recommend Morton's garage to anyone. Craig is the only mechanic I have ever dealt with who actually manages to complete a job for less than originally quoted.
