N.Highly professional, friendly and trustworthy! As a woman I've had mixed experiences with garages so moving to a new city I was a bit stressed to have to find a new one. Kelly's have been wonderful! They send photos of anything needed/done and always try and fit you in. Courtesy car wasn't back in time so I got Stephan's beautiful VW ute to use! Communication is top notch they capture all required information so the drop off is quick, easy and smooth. For the WOF they emailed clear and detailed photos of areas where attention is required which was great! Handover on pick up is thorough and you get the sense that they really care about the customer and their vehicle. Pricing is very good for the quality of service and workmanship. My car failed its WOF this week. I really needed it safely back on the road the next day for a work event. It's nearly Christmas so I thought this would be impossible. But they quickly made a plan to fit the repairs in, and give the car a service (which I hadn't realised was way overdue).
The job was finished when they said it would be, great comms, friendly staff, well-priced, and to top off the great customer service - a thank you bottle of wine, a great little touch, thank you Kellys Auto!

They know cars inside out, are great at communication and their charges are very reasonable. It's a load off knowing that if anything goes wrong with our cars we have a bunch of people at Kellys who care and will get us sorted quickly.

S.Great service! Needed a new power steering pump. Other mechanic told me this was going to cost me $2000 and that the chance of getting a 2nd hand one would be impossible. Not with Kelly's automotive! I was told immediately that it was no problem and that they were going to sort this for me for a much cheaper price. A day later I got the call that they found one for only a fraction of the price offered by other mechanic and now it's in my car working beautifully! Awesome job and the place had a good feel to it. Would recommend

P.I recently purchased a commodore in Whangarei and prior to purchase had the vehicle taken to Kellys Automotive for a pre purchase inspection and was very satisfied with the thorough report that they did.
On purchasing the car prior to travelling from Hamilton to Whangarei to collect I made arrangements with Stephan at Kellys to complete a full service on the car and knowing i was from out of town he scheduled this to suit my travel arrangements.
Due to the great service provided by the team at Kellys given that I regularly travel thru Whangarei I will utilise them as service agent for this vehicle.
