M.It is rare for me to be completely blown away by good service, but if I could give these guys 10 stars it still wouldn't be enough. I drove away, not only gobsmacked by their thoughtfulness and kindness, but also wondering how I could pass it on, it was so amazing. It turns out there are good people in the world, and some of them work at Midas, Whangarei. Thank you very very very much. (They were also, incidentally, really quick and really good value.)
M.Got a booking very promptly (AA booked out till Sept!) for my sons car. They did the oil change as booked and replaced a broken light free of charge. Also gave my son advice about one of his tires. great considerate service.

T.I had an extremely positive and efficient experience with these guys. I am a backpacker from the USA and I have noticed that mechanics tend to take advantage of travelers. These guys were extremely, professional, friendly and punctual. After they looked at my van I got extremely helpful advice from the mechanic on how to proceed with repairs in my circumstance. They gave me cost estimates and told me what was worth fixing since I am only going to own the van for a short time. All in all these are stand up guys and I would highly recommend a visit if you need a mechanic.

D.Whilst others bookings were full for a week in advance I was able to book in the next day. The service was great and they took my vehicle to the testing station next door for my WOF recheck. The charge was very reasonable and I an happy with standard of workmanship.

Its the 2nd time ive had to take my Little Suzuki to get fixed at Midas and twice I left a happy customer a few bumps in the road but they definately fixed my car and helped me out heaps. They were really nice, honest and they explained me what was wrong with my car, showing me the parts that needed to be changed and gave me advices.

C.Car failed warrant on headlights and handbrake. Took to the team at Midas on Lower Port Road, Whangarei. They were on it right away and although the repairs were more complicated than first expected they had the work done in an afternoon. Very friendly service, they took the time to keep me informed right through the process and explained everything in a clear easy to understand way. B.The cheapest place I could find in Whangarei to get brake pads. They are located right next to a testing station too, and to save me time after they fitted my brake pads they went and got my car rechecked for me! So helpful. All the staff were really friendly too.

Apart from usual grease and oil, mechanic Chris went over the vehicle thoroughly and found minor problems that would need attention in the near future or next service. Apart from their prompt and efficient service we were also impressed with the fully itemised Invoice which even noted our RUC was due .

Pour les backpackers qui cherchent un garage honnête, venez ici ! Des prix corrects, les mecs sont honnetes et sympas. On est venus pour un check mécanique pour notre van diesel, avant même d'avoir pris rendez vous le mécanicien avait regardé notre voiture et nous avait donné quelques renseignements. On a pu avoir un rendez vous la même journée. On a aussi eu après des conseils sur l'entretien du van. Un grand merci !
