I’ve been on the lookout for a reliable mechanic that could give me a second opinion on the cars I shortlisted. With working full time and no family in NZ, I wanted someone who could come to the seller and inspect the car in my absence as well, and My Auto Shop was perfect for that! I booked the Remote Technician service for a pre purchase inspection. They were prompt in their arrival for the booked date, and took their time to make sure everything was scanned and inspected thoroughly. Such a delightful experience! In a matter of two hours, I got the detailed report via email, which relieved me of so much stress with coordinating with them. Since I couldn’t get the name of the mechanic that inspected the vehicle, I rang them up to have a chat, and they were extremely polite, easy to talk to and professional. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable service. Shoutout to Andrew for saving me thousands of dollars on the wrong car :D

My car failed WOF as it needed new brakes and rotors. Instead of spending time calling or browsing Google for prices, I used myautoshop which made it easy to view garages that were close to home with feedback and reasonably priced. I ended up using Platinum Autoworx in Onehunga who did a great job in replacing the brakes. The work was done on schedule and on time. And they cleaned the vehicle inside, which was a bonus. Thanks.

Easy to book online, staff were super friendly. The technician that came out to me was super professional and prompt arriving right on time. Such a good experience and awesome service while not having to leave the house, making it just that little bit easier. Reasonable prices and a thorough breakdown of the service before they went ahead and then a report emailed straight after. Will definitely be using My Auto Shop again.

Great detailed pre purchase inspection provided. Which has given me peace of mind buying a new car. Some constructive feedback would be to work on the website, it was a little awkward to navigate, and find where to book the assessment. When booking my pre purchase inspection online there was no form to provide the address details, so I called them to ensure they had everything needed for the next day. Great service, competitive pricing. I would use them again 😊

Excellent service, reasonably priced and so hassle free! Staff and crew are really polite, friendly and professional. I booked a mobile pre-purchase inspection online and the mobile mechanic from MyAutoShop showed up and did the inspection at home. Comparing and booking was easy. I chose the My Auto Shop - Remote Technician. My car servicing was a pleasure. The technician was on time, knowledgeable and friendly. He explained the work carried out, noted of upcomming work needed and patiently answered all my questions. I have full trust in them. This was so easy and convenient I will definitely use them again next year.

Front Suspension Lower Arm Rear bushings repaired due to failed W.O.F. Quotes & booking done online. Job was done in the garage the following morning. Very convenient, really! Highly recommend.

Had problems with my vehicle & got a diagnostics done. My technician was very informative & broke down the issues with my vehicle, have also used my auto shop to book a WOF & full service! Love how handy the website is to find garages nearby too. Thank you for great customer service :)

Was extremely helpful. I live out of Auckland, and couldn't easily view a vehicle to check it. Paul booked me in and everything was so easy. The report was thorough and highlighted concerns. I highly recommend them!

Best Service I ever received from anyone in all my years. I made a booking with Auto Shop, next day they arrived, checked my Ford Focus did not want to start, checked my 1993 Ford Econovan starting problem. The Focus neededa new battery. Received a quote immediately paid and wihthin an hour all was 100%. As far as the startting problems with the Econovan is concerned, Mechanic checked explained to me to do a step one as he called it - spark plugs, rotor, spark plug wiring etc. ordered and less than a week job done. Do I need to say anyrthing more?

Firstly, I would like to apologise to Paul. The team has done great job to quote my car for WOF repairs. It was an easy process, went to the workshop, the NPD Lincoln mechanic done a commendable job and passed through VTNZ. Thanks Paul and Andy.

If I could, I would give them 10 stars!! Being a learner, it was difficult to get someone to take my car to the mechanics and diagnose the issue causing errors but these guys made it so easy ! Their in-house mechanic is a delight to deal with, was helpful with all my questions and explained the issue with my car clearly. Not just that he gave me some tips and advice with how I should look after my car, I am so glad I found them just in time! Such great service overall with organising quotes, timings, bookings - fixing it all in under 2 days and in my backyard! I hope I don’t have to use them again, but if I do, they’re going to be ones! Definitely would recommend.

Lovely, friendly mechanic, full of knowledge and was organised to repair as soon as the diagnostic showed what he thought it was. Would definitely use this service again - so so handy having them come to you.

Pleasant enough and well priced but a few of the items marked as issues were factually incorrect and were working perfectly fine as the technician didn't understand the procedure. A couple of items were not found until later which should have picked up in the inspection.

Quick and easy! Peace of mind knowing the garages have been vetted by auto shop along with transparent pricing. Online booking system and payment made super easy :)

The diognostic was quoted 79 was 89. Great friendly helpful staff. On time. Charged another 379 for 3 spark plugs changed clean up of battery terminals and maybe will work. After 479 I would hope so. Let u know

Found through my Auto shop. I needed new break pads for failed Wof. At Christmas I was expecting not to get in straight away for a good price l. The boys absolutely hooked it up and did a great job!

Had a remote tech come out - Was just a good guy who did a good job. Will definitely be using this service from now.

Super easy and fast. Had paid for the front break pads when it was my back break pads that needed doing, and instead of fixing the front and charging me extra for the back they just went ahead and done the back ones. 100% appreciated that. Will definitely be back to them in future and totally recommend.

Booked a WOF with driver pickup/delivery. This was a very easy process and went pretty smoothly (especially considering how new the company is). I would recommend their offerings to others. It makes car servicing easier and more transparent.

I found My Auto Shop while google searching for a cost effective wheel balance and alignment. It was considerably cheaper than I'd been quoted by my usual tyre guys, and I could choose where I went so it was close to me. They did end up having to move me as my first selection had forgotten to update their bookings, but the second place was good and My Auto Shop rang and explained the situation. Just a few teething problems, but a good option and good to know in advance what you're paying. But remember, the quote is just usually the exploration. Any problems found will obviously cost more, but I found it was still competitive. I'll use again.

I recently got a WOF for my vehicle and My Auto Shop made the whole process stress free and super easy! It saved me time having to find a place to get it done, and the pick up and drop off service is great! Definitely recommend.

Had issues with my car air-con. Booked with Kihikihi Garage through My Auto and found procedure easy to use. John the Mechanic at Kihikihi Garage was amazing. He explained the problem, offered the solution, gave a timeframe for the work and quoted the total cost for work required. Service was completed on time and my car sounds and runs like its brand new. Will definitely use My Auto and Kihikihi Garage for any future work.

Outstanding services rendered by the very friendly team at My Auto Shop. Makes maintaining my vehicles much more of a breeze. Having someone come and pick it up, take it to the shop saves me so much time. Getting a price quote from an approved provider that is referenced to data provides less of a rip-off factor in servicing my car. I have paid dealers much more than necessary over the years. Comprehensive pre-purchase vehicle inspection with a detailed review and a courtesy call to provide added information and explain anything I didn't understand.

I had been overseas and my car had stopped working, I was very grateful when My Auto Shop were able to come out quickly and get the car going and complete a service in a quick efficient manner. Thanks to this service I sailed through my WOF and feel very happy that all is now good with my car. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

Got the glow plugs on my hilux sorted, great fast and friendly service both customer service and technician and reasonably priced.

I am so thankful to have found this auto shop. Our radiator cracked, unexpectedly. That same day in the afternoon we called several places and no one was available until a week later. But myautoshop answered and booked in for the very next day, they also come to our home and did everything. It rained several times and the mechanic continued working on our car. His communication was also very clear and helpful. we are very thankful our car is all sorted, he also serviced it straight after. It was 10/5 for me overall.
