Awesome food. They also make amazing coffee milkshakes. Totally divine! Their loaves of bread are yummy and the staff are friendly. Parking at the Creek Road site is a challenge but the Rakaia site has a parking area with an attached cafe

Oh man, had to hunt a wee bit, as I wad just passing through, without a maps app, but we'll worth the hunt, sandwiches of gold at the end of the rainbow. Great range of tasty food, friendly staff. Would recommend.

First time visit to this bakery. Had just stepped inside the door and the staff asked immediately what can I get you. Would have been nice to be given a moment just to have a look, before being pounced on. Other than that, can't fault their friendly customer service. The bacon and egg pie (with some sort of tomato sauce) was a nice surprise - tasty and different. Hubby said that the steak and cheese pie he had was nice. The Smokey BBQ & bacon pie was a big hit and was described as 'really yummy' (I want to try this next time). The lamingtons were the nicest l've had in a really long time (fresh & delicious). This place is super busy with cars and people all over the place. Now I know their secret in this little gem of a bakery hidden in the burbs! I'll definitely come back here when I visit Ashburton again. Save me a Smokey BBQ & bacon pie please!

Pies were a bit pricey for my liking, the mince and cheese pie was okay, not much cheese in mine and the mince wasn't very flavourful. I had a good coffee to go, no complaints there. My three pepper steak pie was better as it had a yummy gravy along with tender pieces of steak. The only thing was that it was VERRY peppery, luckily I like pepper! Overall we enjoyed our feed and would return again.

I know I said Cafe Time in Ashburton had the best donut in the country but I spoke to soon. Make room for Harvey’s. Their custard filled brioche donut had enough custard to put The General himself to shame. The banana creams brioche donut can only be eaten embarrassingly; it will get everywhere as it should A bit pricey at $5/each but worth it if you need a decent donut

Dangerous place for a sweet tooth! Everything tastes as good as it looks. Pies and savouries at an eatable temperature and not dry, even in the late afternoon.

World class pies. Every year, when I come home for Christmas I visit this pie shop on a daily basis. I can’t go past their legendary steak and cheese pie. The best you can get!

Yummy freshly made food from Harvey and the team. Award winning pies, such as the Thai Green Curry pie, are a fav. The Pork Riblet roll is also good for lunch. And also available are the standard loaves, rolls and biscuits. A handy location is the icing on the cake...

Great bakery with an amazing selection of artisan breads, pastries, savouries sandwiches and bread rolls etc. Try the Native American Rye bread. Mmmm.

Great place for takeaway no place for sitting.Good value for money lovely soughdough buns and a good variety of breads for sale.Always busy and the tradies are there so thats a good indication.Supa friendly staff.
