A.I don't usually review bakeries because for the most part they're fairly similar, but my go-to pie--steak & mushroom--was one of the better ones that I've had. The meat was chunky and tender, the gravy was rich and flavoursome...not gelatinous and bland. Will be looking at trying another one when I'm in the area.

2.Good pies but needs pay wave. I've transitioned to digital payment methods for security and convenience
T.Been going for 15 years or so, on and off. Previous management (where the name Bernie came from) was muuuuch better and responsible for 90% of the awards on the wall.
Store was very stuffy and there were a few flies around the cafe. I understand this can be difficult to manage and appreciate that none were in the food drawers. I had a butter chicken pie, which I will admit was delicious. Muffin was nice and moist.
3/5 for a few reasons: new management is holding onto previous management’s awards. Store was too hot to enjoy the meal inside and none of the tables were clean. Food was admittedly nice.
S.Bernie's has absolutely fantastic pies and sausage rolls ! The steak pies have very good meat and the butter chicken is a personal favorite. Good coffee too
