G.If your mouth is dry, come by here to immediately start salivating from all of the little dessert pastries, biscuits, and bread. The only problem about visiting is not being able to maintain self-control from ordering one of everything haha.
However, guess should note that on a rainy day at least, there's very limited seating inside if you're in a group of 4 or so that want to sit and eat lunch.
j.I come to LPF almost daily with my team from work. The staff are amazing and they really look after you well. The pastries are delicious and coffee very good quality. The barista always makes sure coffees come well timed for groups and they are at the perfect temperature. These girls deserve a raise.

H.Went for Le Paris Brest and the choux pastry was perfect, texture and taste wise. The crunchy candied pistachio was a perfect touch to it. However, the praline filling could do with a little less sweetness as I found it a bit satiated towards the last bites, but again I feel that way about most sweet desserts so that’s a personal take. Still really enjoyed it regardless.
Staff wasn’t very welcoming but was not too bad.

This place is not the cheapest but also far from the most expensive, especially since it's very obvious that they use quality ingredients.
What really ruins the experience is the use of single-use plates and cups, even when eating in. Having a fancy looking, $8 pastry served on an ugly compostable plates just doesn't make sense. It's not only that it's difficult to take a nice, instagrammable pictures of something served like this (I don't really care for that), it's the amount of unnecessary waste that puts me off.
Althought they claim that everything is compostable, it doesn't change the fact that it's very unnecessary and obviously comes from a place of laziness, after all they have a fully functional kitchen in-house and I assume they don't use single use bowls there. Additionally, other cafes and restaurants within the same building serve food on ceramic plates with proper cutlery and cups.
In conclusion, I'd like to urge the owners to be better and live up to their potential. That's all.
M.French patisserie is so awesome! I love every single of them and we both ate them up!!! Fast service and good coffee. Just don't like the take away plates&cutlery
B.Met up here with a friend for an afternoon tea. It is a bit far from the city but the 75 bus to Wynyard Quarter gets you very close.
They have a range of different pastries to choose from and they all look really good. We only had pastries but would have like to try their croissant. The chocolate eclair was nice but the pastry was a bit soggy. The chocolate L'lnaya was really good. Nicely tempered chocolate on top with the creamy mousse and crispy pastry shell at the bottom. It had a nicer chocolate flavour than the eclair.
Would be a place worth visiting if you have a sweet tooth.
D.Discovered La Petite Fourchette through an officemate’s recommendation. Tried their quiche lorraine and my first impression was that it was the best quiche lorraine I’ve tasted in my life (so far)! 🤩 I wasn’t sure if I was just hungry then or I just haven’t tasted enough quiche, so went here again one weekend for brunch and yep, still the best quiche ever 😍
Barista was also super nice, seemed like she knew most of the customers and was chatting with them while making coffee. Coffee was also good; I usually get coconut flat white and prefer a milk brand which they unfortunately don’t use. I don’t know how she did it, but she made my coffee taste real good! She was also nice and attentive enough to cut the quiche in half as my partner and I were sharing.
Highly recommended and will definitely be back!

N.Food was amazing and I’m glad there was a croquet monsieur vegetarian edition. It was delicious . To be honest it’s pretty disappointing that all the cutlery and serve wear was single use and involved single use plastic . There are better alternatives that don’t mean you have to hire someone to wash the dishes
L.I think this place is owned by same owner of a French restaurant in St heliers call La Fourchette. Bought 3 desserts I like the Tiramisu it’s really good but the other two are average. My favourite French pastry now is Vaniye in Parnell as the top one closed years ago call Heart of flavour.
D.When you are greeted with “Bonjour, comment ca va?” You know you have walked into something truly French. 🇫🇷 We ordered the Calamansi Tart (on cafe owner’s recommendation) from their tempting long cabinet display of Gallic delicacies, all are so beautifully presented 🌸. Calamansi is a citrus fruit similar to lemon and limes. It is covered with torched meringue, the sweet burned flavour mingling with the tartness beautifully. Have the tart with a coffee - perfection👌🏼. If you want a little French indulgence in Auckland, check out this place on Daldy Street in Wynyard Quarter!!
H.Cute little place. Tiramisu tasted yum. They have great coffee as well. Come earlier to enjoy more selection on their bread and desserts.
N.the desserts they serve are of good quality standard! the mille feuille was yummy. there was a hint of bitter sweet at the end after each mouth. the raspberry la fleur was good, hard on the outside soft on the inside. the tiramisu was missing a few components like maybe rum probably? it was good just feel like something was lacking. overall, worth the try if you’re nearby.
A.Lucky us, treated to work team dessert date! Such a selection: eclairs, madeline, apple tart, dark chocolate cake... the staff are the sweetest around! Perfect place also for birthday shouts!

m.We pulled up on our lime scooters, stop to have a coffee and a cake what a wonderful beautiful place. They have a kitchen on site to bake all their goodness and they have plenty of bakery sweet desserts pastries to choose from. We had a croc monsur and it was delicious so was the coffee.

H.I go to this place today 29/09/2019 around 3.15pm just for a bite. They were not much left actually want to try their croissant but its all gone. While looking for the display stand for the cake and I saw a fly flying around the nutella brioche stand which looks very yummy. I tried to chase away the fly by knocking the glass stand and the staff behind the stand which was cleaning up oven? at the counter turn back and look at me and I told her there is a fly over the brioche but she did not do anything and continue her job. I saw the fly landed from one of the nutella brioche to another one which I want to order at that time. Because of this hence I order other cake. It is very disappointed to see the staff not even try to chase away the fly and let the fly landed on the brioche and maybe after that will be landed to another pastry or cake. Hope the management will look into this matter seriously.
