H.Tried the steak n cheese and beef cheek, mushroom and cheese. Both were superb with generous chunks of tender and juicy meat encased it amazing pastry. Highly recommended!
H.Mairangi Bay Bakery made a superb cake for us recently. Chocolate with a raspberry choc cream filling, it was moist and delicious. Beautifully decorated. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
They also provided cupcakes, mince savouries and club sandwiches for us. All very fresh, tasty and well made. Great job. Thank you!

J.Been coming here for ages. Great pies and they're always trying new things. I like the seafood and the chicken and cranberry myself. Their prices have gone up a little over the years but not in a way that seems unreasonable (despite what other reviewers think). Inflation is a thing. If your weekly shop costs more so does there's.

Parking was a bit tight as well with 1 marked parking space smack dab in the middle of the carpark was a bit unco. Didn't notice any Disabled Parking but I might have missed it trying to weave around cars.

J.Superb pie experience. I went there for the gold award winning chunky beef and gravy pie, and my sister went for another gold award pie with cranberries in it. The range there was extensive, impressively so, and all the sandwiches and rolls looked filling and hearty. My pie had great structural integrity, and did not come apart after I ate most of it. The filling was very generous. Even now, I dream of buying more from this bakery. The cakes, cupcakes and other desserts there were very well decorated. I recommend bringing young relatives/children over because they’ll definitely be awestruck by the bunny cupcakes, transformer cookies and flowery cupcakes.

No wonder they have won every pie award under the sun. You can tell that this place makes them fresh and doesn't de-frost and re-heat like some janky, back-alley, sad excuse of a pie retailer.
