We had our cupcakes from this place for our wedding as gifts for our guests. The service provided was excellent. Price is good also, and last but not least the flavour of the cupcakes was very very good. I have tried the strawberry and the blueberry one. The strawberry reminds me of the strawberry pocky flavour which is my favourite. The blueberry is also very unique. The right amount of sweetness and also we were allow to pick our printed design on top. Very happy with this choice.

Sweet and delicious surprise received from Petals!! An overseas family member organized a gift from Petals. I received 12 assorted cupcakes. Each cupcake had different flavor frosting and the cupcakes were moist. It was well packed, message card included and delivery safely (all cupcakes are intact). I tried their cupcake for the first time and will head to their Newmarket store for more when lockdown levels are eased. An excellent gift when you don’t know what to buy for your loved ones.

Petal Cupcakes in Newmarket have a great range of colourful and different flavoured cupcakes. They are very appealing to the eyes and lovely as a gift 🎁 in a nice box. You can buy in a 4, 6 or 12 pack and save a bit, otherwise it's like $5 each. They also come in mini size 12 packs in one flavour only

We ordered the Red Velvet Petal Cupcakes for our wedding. They were so divine and adorable! A big thank you to your team.

The cupcakes are heavenly delicious and awesome. The cup cakes are just the right kind of sweetness and they have close to 8 to 9 different flavours. The service at shop was very friendly too. Parking can be but difficult but close to train station and busstop.

Petals cupcakes vouchers are excellent gift for someone when you don’t know their delivery address. Send it by email and the recipient can get the cupcakes when it suits them or when they want to indulge on some cup cakes. Thank you Petals for making life easier!

Love their vegan cupcakes!!! The raspberry one is the best! I think for vegan cupcakes they taste great and are good for value.

Big shout out to the Newmarket team! I put through two orders to go to different locations. And this was done through a flawless smooth ordering process during AKLs lockdown. And best of all, my siblings who received the cupcakes absolutely loved every single one of them regardless of the flavours. I will definitely be ordering more from Petal cupcakes and spreading the word about them. Keep up the good work guys!!

Whilst meandering down Teed Street in Newmarket, I fortuitously discovered Petal Cupcakes! I had previously been fortunate enough to get to sample one of their mini cupcakes at work from a surprise congratulatory gift box for a co-worker. I felt like a little child gazing in awe and amazement at the display cabinet of beautiful cupcakes of varying colours and flavours. Finally, I arduously managed to chose a selection of flavours including salted caramel, black Doris plum, vanilla bean and espresso cupcake to take away in a gorgeous Petals carry box. The cupcakes are large, moist and perfectly decorated and flavoured with a wide range to choose from and you can order online too! Highly recommended!

First time I heard about them was on insta. It was eye catching. Tried it and loved the cupcakes, they also have eggless cupcakes if you dont consume eggs which I really love because I always try to find eggless cupcakes and always get disappointed. Best place for cupcakes if you're craving one for. I bought 4 different flavours and all were amazing. I totally recommend this place.

petal cupcakes have the most beautiful and tasty cupcakes ever omgg. we’ve purchased from here before for a birthday and have always remembered how delicious they were :) so as an inevitable result, we also, quite recently bought some during christmas, we purchased their christmas edition cupcakes and they were absolutely stunning- especially the gingerbread one :)) will definitely be coming back soon for more.

I would not rate the cupcakes 5 stars and my reason for it, is because for 5 dollars the cupcake should contain a little bit more than just the decent cream on top. Don't get me wrong it is not a bad cupcake but just something missing to hit the benchmark. My reason for 5 star is Sophia, the sweet lady who served me. She was very nice and provided a great customer service experience. Thank You........

I ordered 6 gluten free cupcakes at short notice to be delivered to a friend in Hospital. They were delivered promptly, packaged attractively & my friend was thrilled with the sweet treat. She sent photos for me. Thank you so much.

Usually stop by here when I'm in the area to get a sweet fix. The cupcakes are just delicious and a nice treat. Although it is quite a small shop the display usually has a variety of different flavours to choose from. The cupcakes are around $5 per piece.

I ordered a pretty cake to be delivered for my friend's birthday. They did not deliver on the day I requested, and it arrived looking pretty awful. The whole point of going with Petal Cupcakes was for the pretty frostings... Customers should just pick up from store instead. Lesson learned. Edited note: Petal Cupcakes got in touch with me right away. They have good customer service.

Love these cupcakes. Beautiful, tasty, lovely box packaging, these are the perfect casual gift. Their single cupcake gift box is just adorable. Favourite flavour: Strawberry balsamic.

I love the cupcakes, truly do, but the container design is stupid! Need to carry it in your bag and you'll end up with a cupcake like this. For the love of God, the container needs to encase the base of the cupcake so it doesn't fall over!

Always friendly service. Cupcakes are amazing. Ive tried many different flavors and they are all very nice. Cupcakes are very soft and spongy, and not dried out, but not too much butter or cream, the taste is very well balanced. Personally I think the icing is a bit too sweet. Having one cupcake for desert is more than enough.

All the cupcakes are so so gorgeous here!! Have tried all the flavors and they're all so so great; icing is pretty and nice, and the cake itself is also light and fluffy! With a huge variety of flavors, they even have gluten free and vegan options. Downside is that it's $5 per cupcake😭 So I don't get to come here as often as I'd like but it's worth it in the moment😂😍

Absolutely LOVEEE THE CUPCAKES but the customer service is dreadful, after visiting copious amounts of times for 3 years I have never had a good experience with the people working there, always looking down their nose at everyone and treating us rudely. My sister has experienced this, my mum, and now today, Some friends of mine popped in (*edit* in the afternoon - I couldn’t find a way to reply so sorry) and said the blonde behind the counter was awful, rude and unhelpful and I thought ... actually enough is enough, the owners need to know that their employees (for years) aren’t providing pleasant “customer service” but rather “servicing customers with bad attitudes and rude behaviors” very disappointing petal :(

A beautiful little store that sells beautiful little cupcakes. The store itself is simply designed with everything well presented and clean. As such, it is a delight to be within as you ponder which of the several different cupcakes on display you'll purchase. Or you might not purchase any, as the cupcakes are quite expensive for what you get ($5 per Cupcake). However, price aside, the cupcakes are quite lovely, both aesthetically and tastefully. The icing is definitely the star of the cupcake, with the cake foundation, despite being delicious in itseld, as secondary to the icing. The icing can be overpowering for some, as they can be very sweet and very plentiful. The packaging of the cupcake is worthy of mention, as it is cute in its design and is perfect for gifts. Furthermore, the staff are very kind, polite and generate a positive vibe. Their attitude is perfect for this kind of store.

delicious - the gluten free and regular. frosting is bursting with flavour and the texture was spot on. Their extensive variety is a bonus and I really like their 'Random Acts of Cupcakes' initiative. I wish more businesses were like Petal and I highly recommend

Yum Yum Yum. We had morning tea at our office this morning and everyone just LOVED Petal Cupcakes. We had an assortment of flavours and had a great time tasting them all ;) Communication when placing my order could do with a little improvement but in saying that, I understand they must have many customers and I know what it's like to be busy and try to please everyone. The drive from West Auckland to Newmarket was totally worth it ;)

Petals is the best tasting in Auckland, and I'm sure in the whole of New Zealand, I always order their Topcake for my wife's birthday each year! Thank you Petals Cupcakes for making it extra special for her!

Petal Cupcakes has reached out to me since below, they provided free delivery of my order as a gesture of goodwill and i will be using them again! This company only seems to care about customers who place big orders. Emailed them as their website was not letting me choose an option to get my order delivered. Got a response straight away (from a manager) confirming i could place my order via email. However, when i sent through my order for a 4 pack of cupcakes with additional toppers and bday card, never heard back. Regardless of how big or small my order is, i would have still had to have paid a delivery fee, so they would have made money off the order, location for delivery was only 15 mins away from them, not that they would know that as they ddnt bother getting back to me to confirm details. Obviously not interested in providing good customer service to customers with smaller orders. Disappointing!!

Honestly the best cupcakes ive ever had ! Vegan Salted caramel is my fave and the fact they do vegan options is amazing ! I would have the every week if possible 😍 they deliver also which is both a positive and a negative 🤣💕💗💖

My friend got me a 6-pack of these for my birthday and I have got to say they were amazing, light, goregous little flavour bombs! My favorite was the Espresso flavour - just enough of that beautiful coffee flavour. Would highly recommend!

In my opinion these are the best cupcakes in Auckland. There are a variety of flavours and they are all beautifully presented. They make a perfect gift accompaniment or gift on its own.

A-AMZE-ING! Love this place to death, they have some of the best cup cakes in the Auckland. The cake is so spongy and the frosting is the best part. My favourite flavours are salted caramel and red velvet.
