T.We used Sweet Bites for our wedding cake in January this year and we were not disappointed! From the great communication and the delightful cake tasting session through to the final product being delivered to our venue, everything was perfect.
The cake itself tasted AMAZING ( We have never eaten so much cake in our lives). We had chocolate, coconut and lime, and chocolate raspberry. All 3 flavours were DELISH! And so were many more of the ones we tried at the tasting.
Definitely recommend this team!

L.Absolutely amazing cake for my son's 21st birthday! I was truly blown away at the amount of detail in the decorations and so was everybody at our table at the restaurant. All I had to do was show Sweet Bites a picture of how I wanted everything to look and it was made exactly, and I mean EXACTLY, how the picture looked, even right down to the floor boards on the top of the cake! I even sent a picture of my son's face to them and they were able to make a cartoon lookalike of him on the figurine, as well as copying a logo of the shirt he usually wears. It was such a wonderful, delicious cake. I can't recommend Sweet Bites highly enough. Well done! My son absolutely loved it, as did we all :-)

We had an initial consultation with the team which we found to be very helpful. We chatted through the ideas we had for our wedding cake and had the opportunity to taste a number of different flavours. It was awesome that we could bring along some family to the consultation with us so that they could be involved in the process. The consultation was efficient and transparent which helped immensely with wedding planning.
As the booking process was easy and straightforward and we had all our questions answered during the consultation, there was minimal communication required which allowed us to focus on other aspects of the wedding. In the times we have had to email them, they were always friendly and responded very quickly.
We had opted for a simple and timeless design for our cake but Sweet Bites do make cakes with more complex designs – have a look at their gallery and you’ll be impressed! We were very stoked that we could have a different flavour on each tier of our cake.
Knowing Sweet Bites have the experience to deliver wedding cakes gave us piece of mind. Our wedding cake was safely delivered on the morning of the wedding day, which was about 45 minutes away from their Henderson store.
On the wedding day, we had overwhelmingly positive feedback from our guests and they all commented on how delicious it was. All three flavours were well received, with white chocolate being the guests’ favourite. We even had a guest say it’s the best wedding cake they’ve ever had! It was really nice to have some left over cake to bring home with us and share with our family and friends. We are already thinking about getting the white chocolate cake for another special occasion.

The latest was the lockdown little bubble special lemon and white chocolate mud cake and must say it looked so elegant and tasted lovely. For my son's 10th birthday Sweet bites helped me balance the cake theme and the budget by customizing the cake to my needs. And all of the kids at the party loved the chocolate buttercream flavor...!! Have also ordered the dark chocolate cupcakes for another event and were delicious too.

I have a habit of ordering different cakes and always asking sweet bites if they can do the most out of it designs and my brothers 30th birthday cake turned out just as we hoped it would & the design was spot on. The stuff we’re also very friendly when we missed the pick up time and the store closed! We still managed to get our cake that day.

k.My review is a bit late but still 100% relevant. Absolutely loved what Sweet Bites Cakes did for my 21st. (Flowers and signage in pic were mine seperate from the cake because of budget) From the beginning they were super nice and helpful with coming up with the simple and pretty cake I had in mind, especially since I didn’t have a huge budget for it. Unfortunately my 21st was set for April 2020 which then of course got ruined by COVID, I was super nervous about everything but Sweet Bites Cakes were super kind and gave me the option of refunding or holding on to my order indefinitely, so of course I held on to it! After a year I was finally able to celebrate and they were all set to take on my order again. Throughout the whole exchange they were so kind and I knew I could trust them with my cake. Everyone loved the cake, so many took pieces home to enjoy even the DJs and we had so much left that we were eating cake for literally months, i really can’t complain it was so good. These lovely people will definitely be my go to now for any cakes for special occasions and I’ll definitely always recommend them.
T.I ate 4 cupcakes over 2 days, each of them very delicious! My dog then destroyed the packaging, so all around our family thoroughly enjoyed this experience!

My order was cupcakes and cake pops which were for my cousins birthday and she said they looked and tasted so yummy.. T.Excellent service. I arrived with no warning in store near near closing time, but they still made an effort to meet my needs and 20 minutes later I walked away with a beautiful cake that turned out to also taste incredible.

R.I always get great service whenever I go there. Staff are friendly and personable. They're happy to answer any questions. Location of the store is great with ample parking. I usually buy my cupcakes from there. The price of a cupcake is now $5. Cost has gone up over time. Unfortunately the cupcakes look a lot better than they taste. They're not bursting with the flavour advertised which is deflating. I'll be on the hunt for a new cupcake fix place.

T.Unfortunately we were stuck in Level 4 Lockdown for my son’s 1st birthday! We had so much planned and everything had to be cancelled including his cake from Sweet Bites.
Shortly after they began taking contactless orders for delivery. With very short notice they were able to apply my downpayment for the first cake to a new design. I sent them my idea for the cake and the results were amazing! It was better than I had envisioned. I asked them to make the frosting and the cake “baby-friendly” (not too sweet) and they definitely tried to accommodate. They also delivered a full hour before it was expected.
I highly recommend Sweet Bites. It was the best first experience even under the circumstances! Thank you for adding a special touch to my son’s 1st birthday!
N.Sweet Bites, made our wedding cake, for a couple who had know idea what we wanted, they were amazing at our first meeting, walking us through what the options were, and the tasting was amazing. We also were offered additional flavours for tasting at an additional cost so we could be 100% sure. They happily changed flavours without it being a hassle, they agreed to changing the colours, the size of the tiers and all we had to supply was the greenery and topper. I highly recommend using Sweet Bites.

A.I ordered a 3 tier chocolate mud cake for my wedding cake and it was exactly what I asked for and exactly what I wanted. It tasted amazing as well and it was almost all gone by the end of the night. The cake was really fresh and moist which I loved the most. J.We ordered a four tier wedding cake from Sweet Bites for the previous Saturday. The cake itself was delicious and looked beautiful.
However there was a surprise when we cut into the third tier. We had ordered pineapple lumps and instead it was chocolate that we found. Not that it wasn't tasty (it was well liked) but it was not what we ordered.
Edit: My wife received a very apologetic phone call from Sweet Bites for the confusion. We really appreciated their gesture and attention. Mistakes happen. But we want to re-emphasize: their cake was delicious!
M.I was very thankful for the time spent corresponding via email especially with Angela and Gen about a princess cake I wanted to order for my granddaughter's upcoming 5th Birthday.
However, thanks to the new level 3 restrictions, I knew I wouldn't be able to come in person to discuss it further, so I changed my mind. I did send an email on October 5th,
apologising for not being able to follow it through and for all the inconvenience. I hadn't received any response or acknowledgement of my apology since and wondered if it's a money factor and so you don't care?

The team were accommodating and suggested some additional touches which made the end result even better.
We couldn't have been happier with the result; Chocolate Mud cake with a White Chocolate ganache icing and our logo decorating the three tiers, absolutely delicious and well enough for the number of attendees at the 60th anniversary event.
The pricing was also very competitive, and great value for money. I would highly recommend Sweet Bites.
S.Had ordered two cakes, both were for 30th Birthdays. Initially the design of the cake was capture from their Instagram page and then the order was placed from their website. From day of placing the order until the pickup day, the communication was on point with prompt responses. The cakes looked really good and tasted amazing to.
The flavors were Choc Mud Cake and White Chocolate & Passionfruit Mud cake.

A.I am an admittedly fussy person, who's very particular. Using Sweet Bites Cakes for my wedding cake was the best decision! Their consultative approach and advise (given my wedding was the end of Jan and wedding outside) meant that the icing stayed perfect and didn't melt. I chose a cake with cake pops for my guests, and the cake pop itself was Delicious and soft as well as the cake!!!!

We saved the top tier for ourselves and it is honestly the most delicious wedding cake i've tried! We have 4 different flavours and they were all so unique and yummy, flavours you can't find anywhere else. Must try the Jaffa flavour (this flavour turned into a guessing game, disappeared so fast because of it!)
P.I have used Sweet bites on numerous occasions for birthdays. As long as I am clear about what I want it to look like, I’m not disappointed. Thank you again for another gorgeous cake that taste great too. Pineapple lumps or passion fruit with white choc are my new favs.
L.As lovely as the cake looked and as friendly and kind as the staff were, I was a bit disappointed in the cake we purchased.
I absolutely understand that an over the counter cake is made in bulk and in advance compared to the beautiful custom cakes that sweet bites create.
However, as a baker, (I had just flown in to surprise my mother for her birthday and was unable to bake a cake myself) I was a little confused at the hefty price tag for a very basic cake.
It was incredibly dry, with a very very small amount of simple syrup. The semi naked finish didn’t do enough to maintain the moisture in the cake and the few millimeters of buttercream in-between the two layers was not enough to impart any flavour.
For the $90 price tag for a 6inch cake I was expecting the layers to be split so that extra butter cream could be used, especially with the semi naked finish.
Unfortunately, most of the cake went to waste.
I’m sure that the custom cakes are fantastic and I would love to try one in the future. However I wouldn’t purchase a flavour of the week one again.
T.I recently ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday party. We had over 20 kids over and they all loved the cake, including the parents. It was beautifully decorated and taste heavenly. I have had a number of parents ask me for the address to the cake shop afterwards.
It was a last minute decision to order cakes there and we had no idea what we wanted. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our request. They showed us their amazing photo album and we were able to pick and choose elements that we like and combined to our cake. The design was very creative and artistic. It's almost a shame we had to cut it apart. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely come back and order more cakes in the future. Thank you for helping me create a memorable birthday for my daughter.

I picked it up today hoping for something 70% close to what we wanted. It far exceeded our expectations. Sure, it's a bit pricey, but it was amazing.
If I ever need more than a normal cake, I'm going here. They even opened twenty minutes early for us on a Saturday so that we could pick it up.

However after my daughter picking up a cake I ordered for my husband's 50th Birthday I was really disappointed with the lack of detail around the cake for a sea theme.I expected more , perhaps i didnt express myself better in what i wanted but i felt sure the young lady that served me was on the same page and i had every confidence that Sweet Bites could deliver.The figurine was just gorgeous the details were great and the actual cake was delicious and moist but you let me down with the rest it looked like it just hadn't been finished to your usual standard almost rushed. It saddens me to write this and I'm not sure if I will come back in the future.

Even though they were already fully booked they still went out of their way to make sure everything for the cake was perfect and ready in very short order exactly when they said it would be. They really help take the stress out of the last minute preparations, I highly recommend them and the white chocolate and Manuka honey cake it was superb.

A.I'm so bummed that I forgot to take a pic. I ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for a mate's birthday recently. Gave Angela a little direction on decoration and when I arrived to pick them up I was so impressed. They were gorgeous!!!! Perfectly decorated for my friend and almost too pretty to eat. Almost.
If I'm in the neighborhood I can't resist stopping for a treat. The chocolate fudge is perfect for a chocolate craving. But the Banofee and the Nutella are TO DIE FOR! Okay, fine. I can't leave without two for me. Best cupcakes in New Zealand.

J.Was going to 3 it cause of a few things, but to be fair the presentation was pretty damn good with the main cake, second cake & cupcakes to be honest, I have to say that the decorating was really awesome. Whoever does that big ups and honestly that's really cool and clearly not easy.
Only real gripe or two is when picking up the staff seemed a bit angry, or maybe not down with working that day so it appeared, obviously I can't confirm this, but when the cakes and cupcakes came out they were somewhat dropped onto the bench from a few inches high which I thought was a bit odd, sending hundreds and thousands and bits flying, the person didn't look impressed with me being there and wandered off and while usually I'm not a nut job keyboard warrior I thought that this was a bit odd.
With all due respect to the hard work that goes on there, I'm going to presume the people of the day didn't include the owner of the actual business for that kind of thing to be happening surely. I don't know.

Thought the mud cake was a bit heavy. But hey everyone nailed it. To be honest if you are that fussy then you've got problems. But a few people had mentioned the cake was a bit heavier than it should be.
I still highly recommend and would go to this place again for sure. Maybe when I picked up I turned up at a stressful time for the workers, saying that good staff keep it together and smile out front, you take the days frustrations or dramas to the smoko room or behind the tree out back.
Don't forget its the business owner and their business that suffer, you can still go home after work and have a rant on Facebook with your mates while they deal with the fall out of bad service or online freaks.
Clearly you have some seriously talented people though, again, big ups on the decorations!

D.As part of a GrabOne deal, I ordered a passionfruit cake from Sweet Bites Cakes about two or three weeks in advance for my boyfriend's birthday. The day before I intended to pick it up, I gave them a call to check that everything was okay, and to remind them that I would be coming in the next day to pick it up. I specifically asked for white icing (instead of the standard yellow), and a hand-piped "Happy birthday" message with my boyfriend's name in dark icing (included in the deal for free). I was assured over the phone that these specifications had been noted. When I arrived the next day, I realised that they had stuffed up my order. They offered me a cake with yellow icing instead which didn't have my boyfriend's name on it, so I gave it back, reminding them of what I had asked for. I needed the cake urgently, so they hastily re-iced it, and wrote the message I wanted in edible marker on a piece of white fondant which they placed on top of the cake. They evidently forgot that the cake was for my boyfriend (a guy) because they put little purple flowers on the fondant and edible glitter in the icing. They included the correct name in the birthday message, however, which suggests that they had clearly written my order down somewhere. I didn't want to leave an entirely negative review because I appreciated that they re-iced the cake at such short notice. I was also offered a cupcake while I waited. I thought the passionfruit cake was okay in terms of taste and texture, but my boyfriend said that he and his colleagues loved it. However, I'm disappointed that I couldn't give him the cake I'd imagined because of the customer service let-down. :(
