Ordered a mutton pie for $7 and its more like a meatloaf type rather then chunks of meat in gravy. Still tasty but not what I was after , also had a steak,mushroom and bacon pie freshly baked with a cool change drink and based on that pie it was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend it is by far my favourite pie in Christchurch so far. I carnt really have cheese so there is alot of pies with cheese in it including the bacon and egg pie.

Man, that was a well needed Easter Monday pie and sausage roll. It did seem a little expensive (don't think it was a surcharge). But high quality Kai!

The best bakery in town! Can't stop myself from going at least once a week. Always busy but they keep baking throughout the day to keep up! Run by a friendly Cambodian family.

I had a steak and cheese pie, custard square and a cream doughnut. The pie was excellent, just the right amount of cheese to steak ratio, crispy pastry. I thoroughly enjoyed the doughnut but the custard square may have been left a little long as the custard was a bit firm. Definitely will go back.

The best bakery ever finally found you from bower ave! Only down side is when I get my steak cheese & tomato pie the younger girl gives me steak & mushroom instead (I'm allergic to mushroom) happened twice with the same girl so far. But still love you guys always worth my 20min drive then my 5min walk to my nearest bakery lol. Chicken rolls 20/10!!!

I used to classify myself as a regular, however, prices are now very expensive and I have received stale food twice in a row. Once I even received a satay pie instead of a chicken cranberry pie and I'm allergic to peanuts. The staff rush your decision and are not very personal.

I had one of the best steak as well as mince pies I have ever tasted here and have been going back for more again and again :o) I never make it to the car and always end up eating it on the sidewalk as soon as I walk out of the store ;o) Sorry for leaving all those crumbs on the ground!

Used to be the bakery on bower.......now located on the corner of Aorangi rd and Wairaiki rd. This is a tough one because I live so close to it and frequent the store. These guys have it all and it is all Michelin star quality........no seriously a chef from one of those restaurants would double take and finish the item purchased because it is that good.......my advice.....stop by and try them on you will be pleasantly surprised.

A very good and classic NZ bakery owned and operated by a Cambodian family. Has a wide selection of pies, cakes and sandwiches etc. at reasonable prices. As a semi-connoisseur of pies, I think their pies and savouries are particularly good.

HUGE selection of pies, must be 20+ flavors, and they are well stocked and always tasty. Very generous servings of avocado and meat in their filled rolls (a rarity) The shops always packed, but dont expect to wait too long because the service is quick and efficient.

The best bakery in Christchurch hands down, the very beautiful owner works extremely hard to maintain a clean, presentable and welcoming environment at all times. Whether you're after some stunning barista made coffee to wake you up during a hard days work or a mouth watering, fluffy and decadent pie, aorangi bakery has got you covered. I would also recommend trying some of their desserts if you have a sweet tooth my favorite is the banana wrapped in a pancake with whipped cream made with the upmost love and care from the one and only beautiful lady owner. Always welcomed with a warming smile and wished a happy day on my way out I cannot fault this business for anything as every experience has been nothing but perfection. Keep up the good work Aorangi bakery.
