Christchurch is lucky to have a gem like this. Not only are the creations delicious, but everything is personally made with care. I have been lucky to find out about this place from Instagram as he was setting up, and honestly I'm so glad I did. Every time I get a tart, cake or canele's everyone is impressed. Treat yourself, and support a local legend too.

We had the chocolate and caramel tart. Great flavour profile, balance of textures and amazing presentation. Corentin has great attention to detail, explains his creations and his principles behind what he does. Definitely ordering again. If you’re after anything patisserie related, this is the place.

Butter is by far the most professional and most thoughtfully executed pastry I have seen and tasted. What makes it so wonderful is that with its detailed and outstanding presentation and flavours, it still manages to taste like something that's familiar and from the heart. I love Butter!!!

I've been longing for one of Butter Pastry's creations for quite some time after being wooed by the pics of their delicious looking tarts on Instagram. It always looked like a lot of love went into everything Corentin made and after finally getting to taste one of his fabulous creations (his incredible Bûche de Noël) when visiting family in Christchurch for Christmas my tastebuds were not disappointed! The flavours, textures, presentation and attention to detail were next level! His customer service and communication is amazing too - he even got in touch to ensure we knew about his menu changing over the festive season and made sure we didn't miss out on a booking. Only thing I'm gutted about is that we don't live closer so we could get our Butter Pastry fix more often!

Today we were introduced to the delectable macarons made by butter pastry. Dark chocolate, salted caramel and vanilla bean....so hard to choose a favourite!!! We were in heaven, savouring every bite. Flavours were balanced to perfection. Beautifully boxed and presented also. Will definitely be indulging again sometime soon!

Absolutely incredible! Can't emphasise how much quality and attention to detail went into my order. Had the best experience sharing these treats with my friends for a birthday, minds were blown 💥💥💥 Truly the best desert I've ever had! (ps. Make sure you get a few extra canelés just for yourself)

Not only epic desserts but an epic human in this Christchurch community! We had the strawberry tart which was excellent and look forward to trying everything else soon!

Absolutely divine ! The uttermost care and detail goes into every order! Can’t recommend highly enough. The caneles are my go to for a special treat !
