Anna made my Mum a 3 tier 3 different gorgeous flavors. Wedding cake. It was absolutely delicious, flavourful and moist. She loved it. Thank you. I definitely recommend Anna.

Anna makes the most incredibly delicious cakes, both in presentation and in taste. Whenever I have a special occasion Cakes by Anna is my go to. My personal favourite is the vegan carrot and ginger, however I’ve never tried a flavour I didn’t love and I’ve never been disappointed. Always a pleasure. Thanks for making such beautiful cakes Anna!

We had the Gin, Lemon, Lime and Coconut cake... AMAZING and looks very good also. It was a surprise cake for my wife and she loved it. Anna was very easy to deal with. Highly recommended.

Ordered two cakes recently for my 21st, both the cakes & service were perfect! Got the Flourless Chocolate Raspberry & the Classic Lemon. Both cakes we’re so delicious & looked absolutely beautiful. Especially loved how fresh & flavoursome they were. They were throughly enjoyed by everyone & I couldn’t recommend Anna's cakes more!!

Anna did my 21st birthday cake and it was so delicious, everyone was loved it and it was gone so quickly!! One of the yummiest carrot cakes I have ever had and it was so beautifully decorated!

Last week I ordered 3 cakes for delivery to clients. I am not based in Christchurch so had to do on line which can sometimes be a bit fraught. Not this time. From wow to go the service was amazing and very personal. Anna is a dream to deal with and when I seen the photos of the cakes I nearly died as they were so beautiful. They were delivered on time unlike her counterparts in another part of the Country who we had to keep chasing. Thank you so much and would definitely recommend your business to anyone looking for a superior/beautiful but well priced cake.

We ordered a Vegan carrot cake for a birthday on Thursday and it was ready on time at the requested pick up time of 12pm on Saturday. It was as it looked in the picture on the website. It had such great flavors and textures in the sponge, you could tell a lot of time went into the recipe.The sponge was light and moist. The edible flowers on top looked beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the birthday cake. Yum yum yum

Anna did the cake for our wedding last month and we were so happy with it! The online gallery is super helpful when choosing what you are after. We have a gluten free & dairy free cake, despite this it was still moist & delicious. I emailed the week before to ask to change the way the icing was done and Anna was so helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend Cakes By Anna!

It was super easy to organise a sample set for our wedding cake. We just specified colours and Anna organised the rest. Super yummy and so beautiful. Thanks for helping us make the day so fantastic.

Anna made our wedding cake and was great at accommodating a holiday weekend. Our guests raved about it and there was nothing leftover to take home as they ate it all. Honestly the best wedding cake I've ever had.

I ordered the big bannoffee for my 2 year old son after trying Anna's cakes previously at at a friend's birthday party. So far I've tried three cakes and they are all so beautiful. Any special occasion in our home means a Cakes by Anna cake! They are BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS. Anna has perfected her craft in creating flavours that compliment each other, and has found a way of making diary free and gluten free cakes that are not only edible, but enjoyable!! Never disappoints.

I've never had a disappointing cake from Anna and the presentation is always gorgeous! I get my birthday cake from her every year, honestly theee best gluten free range I've found. Anna is super lovely too :)

Anna made the cakes for our wedding in February and we were so delighted with them. She is incredibly talented and professional and our guests raved about the flavours. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Had a cake by Anna for my birthday and it was absolutely divine. You can taste the love she puts into the cakes and they are worth their weight in gold. I got a white chocolate and raspberry cake, it looked beautiful and more importantly tasted amazing. Thank you Anna!

Amazing cakes and amazing service! Had no idea what cakes to get for my sister and I with different allergies and all the amazing options, but Anna was so lovely and patient, basically decided on the flavours for me, and we got two of the most delicious and beautiful cakes ever. Highly recommend the gin, lemon, lime and coconut!

Anna made our wedding cake, and has made heaps of other cakes for me over the years. Wouldn't trust anyone else to make me a cake. A cake by Anna is supreme - delicious, beautiful and bloody generous to a fault. Refreshing to see someone not mucking about with marzipan for a change. I find the negative reviews on here very hard to comprehend, and would suggest that anyone reading them takes them with not just a grain, but a whole container, of salt.

We recently ordered a cake by Anna for my cake-obsessed daughters 3rd birthday. The 10” lemon blueberry and violet syrup cake was beautiful, our wee girls face lit up when she saw it. The cake was devoured and many went back for seconds. It’s important to me to support small local businesses and quite frankly why wouldn’t you with flavours and styling like Anna’s. Thanks Anna!

My parents picked up for my sisters 21st a cake from you for us to enjoy last night, absolutely divine - so moist and yummy and the Freeze dried berries added an extra element. I'm glad Mum hunted you down as will keep you in mind for other cakes needed.

Being vegan I was a bit worried I wouldn’t be able to find a beautiful cake that tasted good and fitted my dietary needs BUT cakes by Anna came through in every aspect. I ordered the chocolate, Pinot noir and pear cake and it was delicious! My mum picked up the cake the day before and it was still moist and yummy on the Saturday night. There was pear all throughout, and the icing was so good I ate what was left of it when I got home that night. I was extremely impressed by the floral display and it was everything I’ve ever wanted in a 21st cake. Thank you so much cakes by Anna for giving me my dream 21st cake.

I've been gluten free for just over 11 years and growing up without cakes when I found Cakes By Anna it was an actual gift from the angels!! (No more gf chocolate brownie or gf orange cake that it seems anyone can ever make!) Delicious, pretty, inventive and I would recommend! Thanks, Anna!

My Mum absolutely loved her birthday cake. Pear, date & salted caramel cake was so delcious! Beautifully decorated 2 tier cake with flowers. All the flavours balanced out, not too much icing, drizzled with salted caramel & sprinkles of slithered almonds. It was absolutely gorgeous. Everyone enjoyed it.

Really enjoy Anna's cakes. Service is outstanding and she really goes above and beyond. Menu is so delicious it's always very hard to choose! If you're looking for a cake for a special event or just because you like to eat cake I couldn't recommend her more.

We ordered an apple, date and salted caramel cake for my Mum's 60th over the weekend. The only issue we had is that we didn't order a big enough cake because everyone wanted more! Even people that didn't like dates were raving about it and my young niece and nephew inhaled it too. Thanks Anna!

I'm not usually a sweet tooth, but oh my great goodness, this cake. This CAKE. Fresh, beautiful, and an easy experience. Would recommend to anyone seeking a dessert for a group (or a cheeky wee one for yourself). And if you're having difficulty choosing which one to order, the lemon cake is the stuff of dreams.

I’ve been to Anna heaps of times now, and started loving her cakes at kadett cafe. Anna is a brilliant baker with an eye for decadence and aesthetics that ‘wow’. Her vegan options are so damn tasty - have no idea how she gets the ‘buttercream’ icing so delicious.

CBA are made with thought and heart. They’re beautiful cakes, decorated naturally and generously, with an artist eye and years of honed in skill. They’re unpretentious, uncomplicated, and unrivalled. There are classic or unique flavour combinations to choose from, inspired by local and seasonal ingredients that can be foraged or traded where possible. The range Anna offers for GF, DF, Vegan and other dietary requirements is incomparable to anyone else in Chch, as there is absolutely no compromise on taste or texture (because if there was... they wouldn’t make it to the menu). I’ve had the pleasure of eating lots of Anna’s cakes over the years and they are always exceptional. The best thing about a CBA (after how good it tastes) is that you know every part of it is supporting, and supported by other small, independent, owner operated businesses in Christchurch and wider NZ... and you can tell how much care has gone into each cake when you dig in to it. Like - that rose on top was prob hand picked after a 12 hour day in the kitchen.

I have ordered dozens of cakes from Anna over the years and all have been amazing. My go-to is the vegan chocolate raspberry, I get at least one every year. They all look beautiful too

We have brought numerous CBA cakes and they never disappoint. They are the most beautiful and delicious cakes! Each and every cake is decorated amazing. I highly recommend these cakes for any occasion 😍 I would not go anywhere else for cakes!

Best cakes in Christchurch, hands down! You wouldn’t even know her vegan options are vegan as they are equally delicious (for those vegan disbelievers ;) my friends this weekend were blown away by the vegan dark chocolate peanut butter cake, I’m already craving another!

Worlds best cakes. Simple. They are so beautiful that you don’t even Wana cut them but have to because you know they taste so freaking amazing and your tastebuds need them. Not to mention the warm, accomodating service when I fancy an impromptu treat because I have no self control or for a group so I can brag how amazing these cakes are. Wow, we had 3 layers and all 3 were amazing. I'd recommend the Banoffee cake overall as not only does it taste fantastic but its also gluten free

Excellent experience with CBA, had one in the past as a birthday cake was delicious. Recently had family in chch with an unwell child. Sent them a CBA cake, which they said was divine. Anna went out of her way to get this delivered to them at no extra cost. Excellent service, delicious cakes! Get in early to avoid disappointment 😃

I bought a Classic Lemon cake for my best friends baby shower two months ago, although it sounds like a simple flavour it was absolutely to die for and decorated beautifully with pink flowers for a baby girl. Couldn’t recommend CBA enough.

Ordered the flourless chocolate and raspberry. Cake was amazing. Garnish was worth it. Ordered from Canada to hve deivered to my fiancé in Chch. I couldn’t be happier. 10/10. Thanks Anna ❤️
