3 visits here so far and happy every time. Prices are very reasonable compared to other bakeries but they don't compromise quality. Top buys so far...good old Battered sausage, cheese and pineapple sandwiches ($4 and lots of filling). Go there. Eat and enjoy

Kia ora! Plentiful on selection, with large portions. I myself got one dog and a pottle of fries. Sauce was provided on the counter. I’ll definitely be visiting soon!! 10/10

Their steak and mushroom pie is the best in New Zealand. They deserve to be recognised for this. Their pie pastry is soft and fluffy and melts in your mouth. Thank you "Try's Bakery".

Pepper steak pies go hard! But the chips.. left a little long in the heater unit, not too great but everything else as sweet as my custard square

Fantastic very clean Bakery. Excellent staff and WOW what gorgeous Pies & slices. We had a beef Roll, Steak & Mush, Steak & pepper and belgian Slice BEAUTIFUL stuff guys keep up the good work, it is hard to find excellent food in a lovely clean shop well done. BH Springston.

I actually think their pepper steak pie is the best I've ever tasted. Real gravy and chunks of meat. Definitely a recommendation. Their other selection of food is excellent.

I reckon these are the best pies in Christchurch. The steak pepper is just superb. Everyone seems to rate Aorangi bakery the best but this place is just so much better
