havent tried anything else but the pies but the filling was awful. way too much gelatin which made the filling completely transparent with little chunks of dry steak in the mix. i was very happy with the pastry, but the meat was disgusting and it was definitely not worth the price

My kids‘ favorite so do I! Tried almost each kind of products, never disappointed. We like the fruit tart, butter cookies, blueberry cream bread, etc. And for the pies, I don't like the pies, but the pie with Apple and pork here is impressive. We always take a big box. The boss and staffs are kind.

I am sorry for being rude and your pies are tasty . But when I pay over $8 for a pie I expect the best . Fairlie pies are far cheaper. Think about what $8 can buy. You have to keep things real . People in general don't spend that on a pie .

Discovered this gem while working at nearby school. Great coffee, delicious croissants, baguettes and lunette mmm. Definitely one of the best bakeries in the city. Don't forget to mention the owner, very friendly, always smiling and keen to make your day better. Highly recommended.

This place is awesome!! Over the last 5 weeks every Thursday and Friday morning I come in and get 2 X Steak, Bacon and Cheese pies. They are always delicious! The pasty is soooo good! The Man behind the scenes has a talent and passion for his products. Love your work!!

My favourite bakery in Christchurch. Luckily it is on the other side of town so I only drop in every 6 - 8 weeks. Love the donuts - best I have eaten. BUT I bought a lentil pie in the weekend as I love pies and I don't eat meat. It looked lovely but it was revolting to eat - dry ,bland lentil filling and so much dried thyme/herbs it made me sick. I hate waste and tried eating it with unpleasant consequences.The dog liked it though. I will be back but will avoid the lentil pies.Lovely customer service and beautiful fresh food. I have been honest about the pie because I think you needed the feedback. I wondered if anyone else had commented negatively about the lentil pies.

The best French pastries in Christchurch. I love any and all custard related pastries. Especially the Custard Brioche. Also the Pan o Chocolate is DELICIOUS. Staff are always very friendly, kind and interested in your day. Awesome stuff!

They have everything to chocolate eclairs,creamed buns of all shapes and sizes,pies of all sorts and but you want 2 try the sausage rolls that pastry is the best that I've teasted and they cook everything right there. The owner is a bit of a dagg love he's foreigner accent along with he's beautiful helpers

Had an outstanding steak pie here yesterday. Fantastic pastry, massive chunks of tender meat...only spoiled by presence of a few blobs of gelatine otherwise it would have creamed the 5-Star rating. This shop is going straight on the Best Pies in NZ Facebook page.

I love this bakery so much. It doesn't matter if i have a made lunch, if I'm within 3kms i will treat myself to their fresh bread rolls or pies like no one else can make. My only disappointment is that i have to wait until im on the west side of town to enjoy it. I wish there was one in Parklands.
