Delicious cakes and bread all with alittle extra something special. Staff are friendly and helpful. Worth going out of the way to visit and treat yourself

I've eaten here 3 times in the past week and it's now my favourite place to eat in Havelock North. Incredible, fresh, beautifully presented food that is the perfect takeaway option. So glad they're here!

Food was good, an interesting variety of rolls and sweets. The pies looked nice golden but didn't try on this occasion. Service and layout is a bit awkward, it's not really obvious what's on offer for cold drinks until you spot the cans etc on the back shelf. The coffee machine is down the front so you've got people waiting around the walkway in. The caramel oaty slice is delicious, definitely worth a stop in for.

Mon World Food new menu at night is outstanding. Had a beautiful meal of Chicken and Cashews on my way home from what had been a busy week. Absolutely delicious. If you haven't tried them then you're missing out. Defo 5 stars from me 👍👍👍

We had a post work evening meal for 7. It was perfect from start to finish. Tables arranged, water chilled and jazz music on! Josh and the chef looked after us like family. The food - again perfectly flavoured, and presented well minus any ostentatiousness. Even my Asian colleagues complimented the menu choices. Had a very fragrant Thai Jasmine Green curry - highly recommended. The rice was soft and just steamed to the right temperature. Plenty in a portion and we took home for the next day too. The prawns, chicken and every item looked yum. I have not had such lovely veg spring rolls yet. Plenty of veg options too. Cafe: has been my fav for months. Try the savoury muffins, quiches, wholemeal bread and for a slice of luxury, pre-order the extra buttery brioche loaf. Once your kids taste the cookies here, you’ll return again and again. Did I say Mon is also very good value.. All in all, 6 out of 5 stars for me.

After an initial very disappointing experience at MON which I shared, I am happy to say that I had the original product replaced and the replacement bread was amazing. Totally different to the original Turkish Bread I purchased. The replacement croissants were also very good. I'm happy that maybe the original product I purchased was due a long weekend glitch - should not happen, but then we are all human. Thanks Rob for putting it right. My husband thinks the homemade biscuits are amazing too.

Ordered a ham toasted Sandwhich and my friend some waffles. We waited 30mins and my friend went inside to check where our order was. They were outta ham. So I changed my order. They gave us free drinks for the muckup. But 4 stars for not telling us about our order us having to ask. But when told they did excellent to resolve the issue.

The baking is good, actually very good. But the the service and coffee is ridiculous. When a flat white comes out hotter than an instant coffee...you've gone way, way off track! Not rude, just slow and awkward, and badly arranged. I would pop in and grab a loaf more often if I knew it was going to be a quick and efficient.

Popped into "Mon" this afternoon for 2 takeaway coffees. Perfect. Couldn't help myself but grabbed a packet of Apricot and White Chocolate Biscuits, also perfect with great flavour and a yummy chew to them .

I had a steak and blue vein cheese pie. OMG it was absolutely AMAZING. It was full of steak, not just a bit of meat and jelly stuff. It had a beautiful Blue Vein cheese and plenty of it. The service, staff and everything just awesome. I know where I will buy a pie next time in Havelock and would gladly recommend your place to everyone. Thanks for such a yummy yummy lunch 👍👍👍👍

Clean and tidy place. My iced coffee was bit of a letdown until I added sugars. But my companions got frappes and they were really nice. You might want to trying making the donuts more doughy.

Food was nice, great service. The coffee was made for me again due to a disagreement on how a latte and flat white should be made (apparently they are the same thing now...) but despite that he made it how I wanted it which was great. We sat outside under the shade of a tree with a nice breeze and enjoyed the space.

Service was quite good, and the food was ok. The tea was hot. The cost of lunch for two people was almost $20 which we thought was too high. Not much ambience inside the bakery. There is good seating outside the bakery, but during the cooler months it's too cold most of the time.

Very nice little bakery and Cafe. Lots of goodies to eat from sausage rolls to we'll filled sandwiches and slices to cream cakes. Lacking in choice of cold drinks but lovely coffee. Eat in/out and take away available.

Best smoked fish pies in the land! Good coffee, great service especially early morning. Nothing worse than a grumpy barista at 6am but these women and men are always very friendly and professional.

Average. Their sweet goods are fine. However, pies are just average and their little mince pies have very minimal filling in them - mainly pastry. Quiches are fine. But we rate New World Hastings bakery as way better than this one.

Decent bakery. Had the meatball which was ok and a decent ultimate pie that had a great amount of fillings but went the opposite direction to other pie places that are all gravy and no meat with next to no gravy. Probably just a preference thing. Had the apricot danish and was also decent but the fact it was chilled takes away from it feeling like it was freshly baked.
