R.Love this place! Have visited a few times on trips to Wellington. Absolutely awesome fresh gluten free food. Heaven on a plate for a coeliac. Always craving their custard squares! A great selection of international gf goodies in their retail section. Also able to order my treats online no problem at all. Great experience! 😊
L.Sooooo exciting to have somewhere where everything is GF! Such a good variety of gluten free food - treats, larder essentials, savoury treats, cakes! Wide variety of Schär food which all the European coeliacs will be familiar with!Every coeliac MUST go and come away with an awesome selection of safe food.
S.Visited around 1pm on a Sunday, really nice place and completely gluten free so no chance of cross contamination.
One of our crew is coeliac, finding actual places that are literally gluten free are difficult.
Bacon and egg pie is delicious and the peppermint slice was to die for. The best ever eaten. Lunch was finished off nicely with some items gifted from the owner as they were shut the next day.
K.So lucky to have this total gluten free bakery available on my doorstep, it's now a regular stop for me to stock up on delicious gluten free goodies! They can even deliver if required. I no longer need to miss out on bakery treats. Family recently ordered me a beautiful birthday cake, a White Chocolate & Raspberry Gateaux...so delectable and even enjoyed by my non-coeliac guests! S.The bakery has an excellent range of gluten-free items - the fresh pasta is easily the best gluten-free pasta I've ever had, and the gluten-free donuts are too tempting when you live nearby! Lockdown service has been amazing, really speedy delivery and personalised service with old favourites available frozen. I've also appreciated being able to get GF grocery items delivered as well.
k.Love this little Cafe. Everything sold is gluten free and there are a lot of other dietary needs catered for. They are certified gluten free too so perfect for those with celiacs. The staff went out of their way through lockdowns to make sure people could access what they needed, and their food is always delicious! They also sell a range of frozen gluten free goods and dry goods/pantry staples. A favourite place to go when im in petone!
