A little on the expensive side but worth it in my opinion. Unique fillings, perfect pastry (for me). Daily Bread is just around the corner but this place has QUALITY all over it.

#1 Pork and Puha pie #2 lamb and mint #3 potato top Best pies in the hutt imo, the service is always great too.

I would say that's the best pie in northern part of New Zealand. Compare with other famous pie shops in northern New Zealand,here is the best place to enjoy the pie, really friendly service and various options. DF and vegan available as well. Thanks team!!

Possibly the best pie shop ever. Wonderful and friendly service, amazing selection, excellent pastry. Highly recommend the lamb shank pie or the steak + pepper pie. So much choice! Must go back. Thank you!

I can not understand how anybody can give the shop a poor review. We are on holiday from the UK and coming from Manchester I’ve had a lot of pies. The pies at this shop are absolutely excellent. We are in Wellington for a week and have eaten here twice already. Meat pies for me and Vegan pies for Oli. He says they are the best vegan pies he’s ever had. The staff are lovely.

Best steak cheese bacon pie I've ever had, and the coffees are excellent as well. Highly recommend. Edit: since change of ownership, the pastry has changed and is now too thin to finish a pie without it falling apart. Suggestion to owners, pls get your pastry back to the quality it used to be.

I/we don't know to much about this shop but the food was good

Best pie I’ve had in a very long time. Big chunky steak, cheese & bacon pie. Also had an awesome egg and lettuce sandwich.

As the rating suggests ... it's ok! Definitely gone downhill since ownership changed but the pies are still relatively tasty although not cheap! The family size pies are ridiculously overpriced! The selection of pies is also still very decent but still doesnt justify the price lol. I used to frequent this shop when I lived on waiwhetu road but dont bother going out of my way to spend there anymore, that being said ... still a good pie shop!

Used to be the best pie shop in Wellington. Suspect the new owners are cutting a few corners to save a few $ which I don’t agree with. I’ve bought 2 pies there recently one had hardly any meat in it and very glugy the other wasn’t to bad. To the owners Don’t be cheap it will cost you in the long run, people won’t go back.

These guys do a great pie! Great range of delicious flavours and combinations. A recent star was Pork Belly and I still love the good old Steak & Kidney. I probably prefer my pastry a bit lighter than this, but that's just me - for others these "more substantial" contributions will be the bees knees.

Picked up a few pies for lunch (steak and cheese, mince, and chicken, bacon, and cheese) for me and my wife. Quite tasty and very friendly service.

Best selection of pies Steak and caramelized onion is my favorite nice pastry and meat is always tender I highly recommend a visit if you're a pie person

Best meat pie in a long time. Steak and Kidney pie was very traditional, full of steak and kidney. Very good flavour. Highly recommended.

I love these pies so much. Their kumura top pie was easily one of the best pies I've ever had. They're so lovely too.

In spite of the name they also offer a wide range of insanely delicious vegan pies. Highly recommended

These guys have been here 30 years - 30 years!!!!!!! Lamb Shank, Lambs Fry and Bacon, Lamb and Mint - epic pies. I used to come here when I worked at the National Film Unit - and to find them still running the place is magic.
