We visited the Harbour Street Bakery for some late afternoon treats. The coffees were amazing and that's no lie. The lady that served us was super friendly and very pleasant too. Harbour Street Bakery has the best coffees and this is a huge compliment given we have tried many. The Doughnuts with custards super tasty and filling! Looking forward to coming back soon.

Awesome bakery! Such a cute place. One of the few places I have found anything with cinnamon. I got the day old cinnamon role (it was still soft and delicious) and my husband got a fruit danish that was deluxe! Good mocha too.

The Cronuts are superb. Baked early in the day, eaten before 10 in the morning. Crisp on the outside and soft and delicious inside. Excellent. Yesterday's mince and cheese pie was just as good, but in a different way. Full of juicy meaty tastiness. I want more.

Went there for a snack, got a speculaas (spiced Dutch biscuit) with almonds on top, very nice. My partner got a bacon and cheese pinwheel or scone type product which he liked. The bread look scrumptious and the pies mmmmn. Would definitely go back.

Hands down, the best pies in the country. Massive portions from everything they stock. **However**… very inconsistent in terms of what's in stock. Hours are more regular now, but they can be completely sold out of hot food by noon. Extra disappointing when you're looking forward to such outstanding product. If they're open, I highly recommend trying whatever they have in stock.

Delicious little bakery, kids loved the Pan Au Raisin (They were massive) and we had some rather delish cinnamon scrolls. Went at 12:30pm and there was still a good selection, recommended getting in early if you want savoury treats

That cinnamon scroll was honestly the best cinnamon bun I’ve ever had in my entire life. It was gooey and soft instead of overcooked and chewy like most other cinnamon buns. My mum got the sultana custard danish and said it was better than any cafe and my Dad got the blueberry danish and loved it. Very pleased with the size, price, and quality!

Great little bakery with the best meat pies. That often sell out before lunchtime. And apparently the best Cronuts according to a recent article in Stuff. Note: Closed Mondays and also at other random times.

Amazing portions!! Oh my goodness. We found this little gem at the Sunday marketplace and we’re very happy. Large portions and very reasonably priced. Just make sure you heat up the cinnamon scroll and custard danishes!! Made them 10x better then what they already were. Definitely worth a visit

The reviews are no exaggeration: this bakery has incredible pies, and all of the sweet pastries and breads I've tried are great too. It's a ritual to come here every time I visit Oamaru. Get your goodies, drive up to the Lookout, and eat that pie as you gaze over the harbour. Heavenly.

Friendliest shop assistant ever at 0830 this morning. The pies are superb. Full of meat, I am a big eater and struggled to finish the pie. Full of meat and good tasting By far the best pie I have had in NZ Keep it up!

Quiet honestly the THE BEST PIE I have ever had and I have had a few in my time. Belgium biscuits that are not dry and crumbly nor are they over the top on sweetness, just perfectly soft and dreamy. Bread that is TRUELY baked daily unlike most places that I have found re-fresh day old bread and call it FRESH. I will leave the rest for you to make your own mind up on but if you don't believe me I challenge you to try this AMAZING LITTLE PLACE FOR YOURSELF.
