T.Wow what a great array of pastries! I had a tough choice to make. Service was lovely and staff helpful and cheerful. Coffee good. Must try the almond pan au chocolate.
B.Babco makes wonderful sourdough, cakes, pastries and sandwiches. I'm no longer able to eat gluten though. I wish Babco made gluten free loaves so I could continue to shop there.
C.What a beautiful and yummy shop. There are so many delicious things it is hard to pick. I loved that they had keto options as well.
M.So Back down memory lane, Babco was one the first places I ever reviewed and I went back there to try so more things, so I felt like something savoury & I got there salted soft pretzel 🥨 and a mocha which always beautiful when I go . If you up for some creative food @babco_nz the place to be .

C.Living in Melbourne and immersed in Melbournes cafe culture, I have somewhat high expectations so was a bit unsure what to expect coming here. This one however is spot on and would fit in nicely to any of the trendy spots in Melbourne.
Had a Baileys Cruffin and a couple of cheese sticks - Absolutely delicious! I cant fault the food here. Relaxed vibe with good music, good set up. Would definitely be back next time I’m in town.
P.Great coffee and best breads in town. The pastries are also to die for!! The shop itself is so cute and it feels great to even sit there waiting for the coffee to be ready. Highly recommend you get in early because they sell out quickly (it's that good!)!
J.By far and away the best Croissant you will get in Palmerston North. They do a range of other baked goods (farmers tart is amazing), including vegan lunches too. Just amazing! Great coffee as well, but the baking!! Oh my goodness!

C.An 8oz/ 236ml size flat white on almond milk is $5.80, which is quite expensive. There is no dine in coffee option with ceramic cups, only commercially compostable cups and only three commercially compostible public options in New Zealand, adding to landfill unnecessarily (Auckland, Hamilton and Wellington). There are also no vegan food options, as I was advised anyway. Coffee was really nice and the shop/ cafe is aesthically pleasing, but overall disappointed.
C.Top notch Artisan bakery right here in Palmerston North. If you want to bite into a light , flakey pastry with a crunch this is the place to go.

Their farmhouse pastry is absolutely delicious with cheese and on one bite it melts into your mouth.
Their fruit pastries are absolutely scrumptious.
The staff are very friendly and you can eat your pastry and drink coffee on site in a relaxed atmosphere.
They also have items of spices and jams on sale.Not to be forgotten you can try daily tastings of different breads and spreads.
S.Fortunately this delicious bakery/cafe is just down the road from my place, their almond crossiants are so delicious making it difficult to not stop if going past in the morning! Coffee service was a little slow the last time I went but I think it was because there were quite a few orders that had backed up. Definitely worth many visits!

S.BABCO has always been a very good place to nice food and drink, with the new edition it is even better been able to sit down and enjoy their great food. If I had to make a recommendation it would be only one thing, to have proper cutlery
