Reviews of Two Tides Bakery
A.Ooo pies! Reasonable range of food, nice setting, and quick and friendly service on one of the busiest tourist days of the year. And of course in the modern era we need to mention the fact that they had good Covid safety protocols in place when we visited. This doesn't matter as much to me as the pie did, though. It was a good pie. I was hungry.
F.This is one of the best bakeries I've been to. The coffee is very good, the food is amazing (the pies are probably in the top 2 in my scale of quality and taste) and the place is run with the professionalism you don't normally see in a small bakery. I always make a point of going here as I'm never disappointed. Well done and I like forward to my next visit.
P.Our pie and sandwich where ok, our coffees were good BUT 2 of the serving staff inside ,one of them the barista, were not wearing masks. A complete lack of responsibility and respect towards the customers!
C.Average steak n cheese pie, had a chicken wrap too which was bland and tasteless. Donuts looked good but am on a diet so didn’t try one

A.Wow! The coffee here is just superb. I was just visiting Tairua for a couple of days and had to go to Two Tides Bakery three times, because the coffee was so good. I would have visited more but that might have seemed excessive! Also a good selection of pies and cabinet food including gluten free etc.

K.Fabulous place for excellent coffee and yummy goodness. They have decaf beans which they grind fresh which makes for excellent decaf (hard to find!). They also have a range of non dairy milk options, GF food options as well as a delicious range of wraps, pies, slices and bliss balls. Highly recommend a stop here :)
H.Great iced coffee. A bit pricey ($7). Great range of non dairy milks. Good service. A bit disappointed that they only do takeaway cups - remember to bring your keep cup.

L.Very delicious and friendly, funny service. We've had a Mexican Pie (5$), Chicken Wraps (9$) and Banana Muffins (4.5$) which we really enjoyed. The golden latte was nice but a bit to much tumeric for me personally. Would totally go again for the food and the staff there!
S.The coffee must be good because the line is usually long (not a coffee drinker but was with someone who is). The breakky muffins are perfection for a grab and go bite; I had to come back twice because they're so delicious. Will be back whenever I'm next in town.

J.Absolutely lovely falafel wraps with an amazing dressing on which our whole group enjoyed. The outside seating was lovely especially the benches around the side with all the plants. However I would say that they did lack the variety of vegetarian options with only one choice of wrap or sandwich for a vegetarian available.

This is a great place for a snack and a cup of coffee. There is an inside sitting area and a covered area outside to either eat outside or wait for your coffee to be ready. Outside is dog friendly.

Coming from Melbourne where it’s known for its cafe/ hospitality /culture. The community here in tairua are lucky to have such an amazing cafe as two tides. This place would do amazing in Melbourne. Coffee and food was superb!!! Staff were extremely friendly and I certainly felt welcomed. I will be back and recommending to everyone!!! Worth the wait.

H.I went to this coffee shop on 15th Feb 2020. I bought two éclair's and a breakfast muffin and cappuccino. the éclair was full of the cream and quite huge! it was so delicious :))) the cappuccino was sooooo nice!!! especially, the barista who are tall blond curly hair man was excellent customer service as!!! he was happy for serve to his customer. I was really happy all day:))) another two lady was soooo nice to me as well !!!
I back to this shop next day... the barista man, he remembered about me
too. Thank you :))))) I don't know that when I will back to this shop again.

M.The coffee was nice, the food was OK. The service is quite bad, especially the young blonde girl. She looked like she didn't want to be there and serve customers. I've been here a few times now and this kind of service is consistent.

Sehr leckere Muffins und anderes Gebäck direkt aus dem Laden. Haben dort vom super netten Surferinhaber den Inselbesten "Flat White" erhalten. Richtig nettes Team hinter der Kasse und gechillter Laden. Preise völlig ok. Würden sehr gern oft vorbeischauen, leider zu weit weg für´n Abstecher ;)
