Their delicious food makes it so very hard to decide what to eat, their coffees are wonderful, their service is cheerful and warm, their homemade bread is scrumptious, and the indoor outdoor seating is just perfect. Grass for little ones to run around on (or bigger ones to relax on!), ideal for families or just a quiet cuppa and snack in a busy day.

Nice vegetarian food, with that great flavour of homemade meals. The bakery is amazing, as expected from a german run cafe. Only the coffee was a bit disappointing, but for the food I will definitely go back many times.

We were very enthusiastic, also from the lovely interior. Bravo! (Original) Ein tolles Café mit wirklich leckerem Kuchen & Kaffee. Ein Garten nach hinten raus lädt zum Verweilen ein. Auch für Familien mit kleinen Kindern ideal für ein Zwischenstopp. Wir waren sehr begeistert, auch von der liebevollen Inneneinrichtung. Bravo!

Under German management here very good coffee and coffee pieces are served. 😋 For self-catering, German-style bread is a welcome change from the New Zealand supermarket. 👍 (Original) Sehr schöne und gepflegte Location, mit "Biergarten" und Parkplatz hinter dem Gebäude, zentral in Takaka. Unter deutscher Leitung wird hier sehr guter Kaffee und Kaffeestückchen serviert. 😋 Für "Selbstversorger" ist das nach deutscher Art gebackene Brot eine willkommene Abwechslung zur neuseeländischen Supermarktware. 👍
