S.Best bakery ever ! Won the BEST HOT CROSS BUNS IN NZ in 2018. They do their own version of Subway, the TRADIE ROLL with either beef, chicken or ham fillings
They have just come up with a new creation. The Cheeseburger Pie ! I must apologise that I'd actually peeled the top off and eaten it BEFORE I took this photo...
But pie really did taste like a cheeseburger :)
N.Yeah, baby these steak and cheese pies are the BOMB!! That kinda of pie where the meat falls apart, and the gravy is perfect!! My favorite pie so far in the South Island!!
F.Hungry? Peckish? Maybe even esurient? If you want to eat the best sausage rolls in Timaru you have to go to U Bake out at Washdyke. This tiny bakery, tucked away on SH1 just along from the Caltex gas station, not only does the best sausage rolls in South Canterbury but also has a tempting selection of pies, cakes, breads and filled rolls. Try a mini doughnut filled with custard, jam or caramel. And don’t forget to grab a packet of their delicious seed cake sticks. Mmmmm…salty.

T.This is one of our all time favorite bakeries!! Friendly staff busy bakery! Delicious food and hot cross buns. Coffee was a bit average but I go to a Cafe usually for coffee! Definitely will be back.
