C.I decided to stop somewhere new in Tirau fresh from my favourite pie in the country in Pahiatua (Finest Batch Bakery). I must say I was blown away. The mince and cheese pie had such a nice flavour, texture and crispy pastry. The coffee and almond croissant were great too. Friendly staff with a kind message written on the coffee
L.First time visiting today. Love their inclusivity during these divisive times. Even better, the food was delicious! Roast chicken roll and vegan custard slice. Will definitely be back.

S.This place was stupendous! A local pointed us to this shop. Come early or all the good bakeries will sell out. Excellent coffee, pies, friand, bread, etc. A real surprise and one of the best bakery I’ve been to in all of Australia and NZ. For example, the friand was buttery smooth but also had a special touch in top that just made it AMAZING. The rest of the goods were similar. Coffee was also top notch.

N.The best Potatoe Top pie I've eaten, there was heaps of flavour packed into that pie. So then I treated us to share the Custard Square... just as yummy. We left with a loaf of Sour Dough bread of which I know will be fantastic Awesome thank you and see you next time.
E.Best food in Tirau! I go here whenever I’m passing through. I’m a vegetarian and they easily cater to us an vegans, just gotta get in early for vegan pies (highly recommend). I’ll stay a regular as the staff is super friendly and everything from food to coffee is perfect. You can’t get better tbh.

J.This little spot is worth a stop. Not everyone can do a coconut milk coffee well but these guys have nailed it. The bakery treats looked and tasted amazing too - pies, Danish, slices, eclairs, an lovely people. We will be back!
N.What a gem! Friendly staff and a great selection of baked goods. I tried the vegan cheeseburger pie - and it tasted and smelled exactly like a cheeseburger. Will definitely be stopping by again.

They closed at 2pm, I got there 2.05pm lol 😆.
I walked too there back door and asked if I could buy some pies. They were super cool about me asking and sold me 3 pies and a coffee. Pies was yummy just didn't expecting a hint of curry flavor in the steak & cheese and mince & cheese. Their Bacon & Egg with mince was interesting but not my thing.
From an Artisan baker of 20years you guys did a nice job on pies and coffee 👍

P.Probably the best coffee in Tirau but that's an impossible choice to make as Tirau is low key a coffee lovers treasure hunt dream with several great coffee locations amongst the many cafes. They do have the best pies here though, made in the shop and you can buy in bulk. Vegan food options are available.

S.Friendly staff and great coffee. I didn't eat there but the food looked incredible. Well worth to plan a stop there if you happen to be driving through. Price point was higher than your standard highway bakery, but the quality of food looked worth it.

The only down-side is there are not many places to sit - four bar stools and a table with four seats outside on the footpath.

M.Lovely bakery on the way down from Auckland. After a night in a campervan, you guys made my day with a really nice coffee and a blueberry muffin that was fluffy and sweet as! The luttle pleasures in life are the best ahahah! The tomato pesto mozza baguette was perfect too! Thanks again and we’ll be back ;)
C.Friendly and helpful staff. Many delicious vegetarian and vegan options. They also sell local handmade gift wares. They don't have cups and plates, just disposable items (but BYO reusable cup/container seems fine).
M.Love this little coffee shop. They have a good selection of vegan and vegetarian cabinet food. They'll often have vegan pies as well. Worth a stop if you're driving past.

A.Stopped here by chance on the way down to Rotarua. Super impressed by the amazing and friendly service. Only stopped for coffee, but walked out with the most delicious cupcake, a pie that impressed my pie loving husband and a great coffee. Needless to say we stopped again on our return trip.

G.GREAT coffee! Very strong caramel flavour. You have to be strong though, the bakery is full of delicious looking breads, croissants, cakes, savouries and lots more! Worth stopping for.

h.OMG stopped foe somerhing quick to eat. Vegetaran options were sold. So ordered a Potato top pie. First time ive eaten a pie in 6 months.... that was amazing. great coffee and excellent service. Will return.
A.I consider myself a pie connoisseur and the pepper steak and cheese pie I had was absolutely amazing. Without doubt the finest pie in New Zealand. A must stop destination if passing through.
B.The staff here was great and very friendly. We picked up sandwiches for a picnic and they didn't disappoint. We hate we didn't try more of their delights. We would definitely stop again should we visit this area again.
