N. S.Since changing hands, pie recipes have changed and its just a bit disappointing to be honest. They don't seem to be able to properly forecast how much of which product they'll need, leading to items being sold out by mid morning. Cream donuts amazing though

K. S.OMG - the best bakery in NZ, I swear! I was only in Waihi for 24 hours but I came here twice and everything was perfection. Raisin muffin: Hot and fresh and AMAZING. Potato top pie: DIVINE! Ginger crunch: OMG YESSSS (and I'm fussy with my ginger crunch). There's a reason people queue here!
L. B.Really good nice bakery. Lot of variety of takeaway food. Tried classic steak and cheese pie - very nice lightly crispy pastry with tastefully filling. Amazing Bavarian donut and absolutely great Portuguese tart with smooth vanilla custard and bit of cinnamon. Worthy to stop here for coffe and something small to treat yourself.

N. B.What a fantastic bakery! Their breads are "out-of-this-world). My wife and I always stock up on them when we return to Wellington. The cafe foods they serve and cakes are well above the quality one normally expects from cafes such as this one. We have taken the trouble to talk to the owners, Murray and Lyna each time we've been up to Coromandel; they are delightful and really care about their products, both from the quality angle and the variety. We wish them every success in a venture that has all the hall marks of effort and loving skill.

C.Only doing a takeaway menu...not explained, very unclear. Only wanted pot of tea hot water and milk and almond croissant.ask the boss,boss says no..then back and forth trying to find a solution, not very friendly. Almond croissant not as expected..pumped full of custard..
