M.Their steak pies are utterly the best thing I've ever eaten, especially considering most places don't sell regular steak pies anymore for some reason, THANK YOU Beano's staff, for being amazing and restoring my hope in pies!
F.A Hidden Gem. We've driven past this a thousand times. Stopped today and we were so happy to do so. A huge range of high quality pies, and baking of all kinds. The 'icing on the cake' was a lovely outdoor seating area where you can consume your culinary treasures - with a lovely view, and friendly sparrows to mop up any mess. This will be a routine stop in the future, not least because the staff are so wonderfully friendly.
M.Awesome service, right on closing time, they welcomed 2 weary travellers, made takeout coffee that was the best on our Sth Island trip so far and the homemade shortbread was so yummy would be going back for more if possble. Great customer service with a smile. Make time to stop here, you wont be disappointed.
M.Beanos Pies. Say no more. Fantastic selection and very tasty. Good selection of snacks and the cakes and buns with the cream. Yea baby, always stop there. Saturdays also open. Dont know about Sundays.
M.Absolutely the best pies we had in all our travels throughout South Island. Every bite had nice juicy chunks of meat that was amazing!

D.The best selection of different pies I have ever seen in one place. It must be very popular because some were sold out just about lunch time.
The one I bought was great. Highly recommended.
W.Best Pie ever. Worth the stop in this wee town. Alot of meat and the gravy is thick and delightful. Not too salty. I fact I sent hubby in to buy himself one

S.Brilliant bakery. Ciabatta, good espressos, delicious pies and so many sweet treats. A real mix of modern urban and traditional tastes. So good!
