Highly recommend the hot pastries, fish buns, sausages, doughnuts, custard squares, raspberry buns, and loaves. The spare ribs, and filled bread rolls have great taste, but are over priced in that the meat ratio is minimal!! The birthday cakes, and Wedges are eye catching but again over priced as I've found them dry on more than one time purchase. Highlight would be the really nice Maori girls that serve.

Wow, excellent bakery. Visiting Wairoa after being away for 50 years and one of the two places we MUST visit was Oslers Bakery. Friendly staff, great coffee and hot chocolate, and what must surely be the world's BEST egg bacon pie...OMG the pie and pies are just brilliant. The egg bacon pie had wonderful chunks of bacon and whole eggs, not the typical scrambled eggs mush of lesser pies elsewhere. Lastly, the service was so friendly, I tipped the lovely cashier.

The seafood pastry is awsome! I stop to buy them every time we travel. My husband loves their neenish tarts. Great that people can dine in if they choose. But crazy that customers weren't allowed to use the restroom toilet, ànd had to walk a block away to find a facility!

Coming back from Mahia and stopped at Oslers yesterday. Purchased the boil up pie which was beautifully baked. The meat in the pie was super tender and the flavour was really nice. We also got some sweets incl donuts etc which were delicious as well. You could tell everything had been freshly made. The customer service was great and we were even offered a cake box to put all the donuts etc in rather than a jamming them into paper bags which is really going above and beyond. Will definitely be stopping off at Oslers next time we pop through. Keep up the great work!!

The best sausage roll I have had for a long time. Much better than the ones around Auckland. We hoped to try your pies but it was the end of the day and you had sold out. So went for the sausage roll and so pleased I did. Very nice. We found the service was prompt and friendly.

Not bad, but not fantastic either. Got the $4 Mince pie and 300ml Drink Combo. Other pies were $3.60 to $5. Had to wait in line 10 minutes as this place is so popular. Curious that they won all those awards from 2002 to 2010 and yet don't seem to win anything now.
