A.Highly recommend the hot pastries, fish buns, sausages, doughnuts, custard squares, raspberry buns, and loaves. The spare ribs, and filled bread rolls have great taste, but are over priced in that the meat ratio is minimal!! The birthday cakes, and Wedges are eye catching but again over priced as I've found them dry on more than one time purchase. Highlight would be the really nice Maori girls that serve.
P.Wow, excellent bakery. Visiting Wairoa after being away for 50 years and one of the two places we MUST visit was Oslers Bakery. Friendly staff, great coffee and hot chocolate, and what must surely be the world's BEST egg bacon pie...OMG the pie and pies are just brilliant. The egg bacon pie had wonderful chunks of bacon and whole eggs, not the typical scrambled eggs mush of lesser pies elsewhere. Lastly, the service was so friendly, I tipped the lovely cashier.
L.Love this Bakery! Always stop on the way through Wairoa. Food is brilliant and staff always friendly :) Today was extra busy but was expected with the Gisborne Gorge closed and travellers diverted.

S.Sea food basket is a must to try, its a very delicious savoury. Plus a couple of good old fashion South Island cheese rolls. Generous potions of sliced cake, scones, quiches etc

P.The seafood pastry is awsome! I stop to buy them every time we travel. My husband loves their neenish tarts. Great that people can dine in if they choose. But crazy that customers weren't allowed to use the restroom toilet, ànd had to walk a block away to find a facility!
M.A bit disappointed but always love their pies.. Its not as amazing as it used to be.. Will always call in every road trip JUST INCASE the excellence comes back..
S.Stopped here on our way through from Napier to Te Araroa. The little Seafood Baskets looked great so we got some....they were amazing! So good in fact that on our way back to Napier we stopped and I purchased a dozen so heat up and scoff at home! Very friendly service and great food!

s.i had the best steak and cheese pie
C.Coming back from Mahia and stopped at Oslers yesterday. Purchased the boil up pie which was beautifully baked. The meat in the pie was super tender and the flavour was really nice. We also got some sweets incl donuts etc which were delicious as well. You could tell everything had been freshly made. The customer service was great and we were even offered a cake box to put all the donuts etc in rather than a jamming them into paper bags which is really going above and beyond. Will definitely be stopping off at Oslers next time we pop through. Keep up the great work!!
D.Great value for money as the meals were of a generous size. Delicious food and hot drinks. Store was full of customers on a Sunday morning. Would highly recommend.
K.Oslers is a favorite of ours in Wairora. So much good food to choose from. Its always busy. The staff are great and the selection of cakes and sweets are to die for. You can even buy birthday cakes.

B.Pretty good food. Did fill the gap, great coffee. I just personally felt the price led me to expect a bit more than I experienced. But this may have been the case if I tried one of their many unique pies that were on offer.
P.Very popular bakery but we popped in just for coffee - and the coffee wasn't good. However there wasn't anything else in Wairoa so I guess at least we got coffee.

b.Good range of food but service was a tad slow. Poor lady with a sore leg had to trudge back and forth from the register to the cabinets to get food. Worth a visit
n.Was a lovely place to have breakfast food was great 😊 they have a variety of sandwichs and hot food to go and to sit in and eat breaky or lunch and they make you welcome I will be back again with my family when we travel through again

A.Called in there for lunch while travelling south. Very friendly staff served us. One of us had a really delicious bagel & the other had tasty Kumara & vege soup, which came with 2 pieces of toast & butter.

We hoped to try your pies but it was the end of the day and you had sold out. So went for the sausage roll and so pleased I did. Very nice.

G.Not bad, but not fantastic either. Got the $4 Mince pie and 300ml Drink Combo. Other pies were $3.60 to $5. Had to wait in line 10 minutes as this place is so popular. Curious that they won all those awards from 2002 to 2010 and yet don't seem to win anything now.
T.Visit and try the famous pie, its good. I have a walnuts coffee tart and its yummy. But the flat white is not that lovely.
N.Best sausage rolls I have had for a very long time. What makes bakeries down here in Wellington think sausage rolls are made with something other than sausage meat? Fantastic Osler's!
R.We stopped off here on the way to Gisborne. It's your standard bakery, cafe. The food and coffee was decent if not spectacular. I did enjoy the decor with the pictures of the cafe throughout the years as it's obviously quite old.

K.Plain old fashion good cafe food. Oslers has always been popular and I always stop here on road trip from gissy to the bay. Open 7 days, has inside and outside tables, huge selection of food and all the usual drinks. Plenty of parking outside. Toilets nice and clean
