I come here EVERY work day morning ( don’t judge me..) and the pies are ALWAYS so delicious! Every single person who has served me has always been super fast, efficient & top quality pies! I love the steak and cheese & their sausage rolls are oooooooon 🔥 too!

If I ever need a sick day I'll save and eat their meat and veg turnover a few hours before work. Without fail, over the past few years it's always lead to an upset stomach or vomiting so definitely not down to just an unlucky bad batch, there's definitely something about it that doesn't agree with me. I used to think 'maybe this time will be different' but nope no longer. Other than that though their food is nice and convenient, their bacon and egg slice is really filling on the go and reasonably priced (seriously compare it to the mcdonalds bacon and egg muffin, it's leagues ahead)

I love this place! Awesome variety of decent food for a decent price. The coffee is great considering it's one of the cheapest in Wellington (better than many places charging ridiculous prices like $6 for an underwhelming coffee) and always comes with a free piece of cake. The older women here is really nice and great to chat with! Highly recommended.

Lovely food and friendly customer service brought a steak & cheese pie and a couple of sandwiches fresh and delicious really enjoyed it thank you so much will be back again

Most reliable and efficient bakery! Their butter chicken pie is the best, especially with a side of their fries dipped into the gravy. Grange of hot, room temp and cold savoury options, and decent sized range of sweets, they don't skimp on jam/cream/custard filling either. The fruit tart is the best with a surprise choc hunk at the bottom. Small inside, especially when it's rush hour, but you're never kept waiting too long. The only slight annoyance is them always running out of fries (because they're so good), or if a newbie doesn't put enough salt on top. Always clean and someone pops out to keep food display right and the drinks stocked.

Every mornin i get a filled roll with avocado, cheese, tomato, lettuce and dressing, and a small bag of fresh french fries.. and go back to my desk and add fries to the roll.. this is my breakfast, and i ADORE it! there is so much more to choose from, all delicious and very well made, by hand every day, but i just can't quite my winning combination.. same quality for all the years i have been going there..top notch.. love the family environment behind the scenes, always cheerful, helpful and accommodating when i ask for a roll when the sandwiches are still being made firstly, they will always stop to make one for me then, aswell as put a fresh batch of fries on for me. Seriously one of the best foodie shops in Wellington, and so reasonably priced, the same prices you would get in small towns.. Highly recommend! i just wish they did Sundays too.. but really, they deserve the rest.. and much gratitude!

The steak and cheese pies here are surprisingly good, with lovely rich gravy. The baking can be hit or miss - custard square is definitely my favourite. The thing about this places is the prices! Everything's super cheap so Cozy Cake Shop is one of my go-to places for something extra after lunch.

first time in today and will not be the last. kids loved the fries and hot pies, the quiche was tasty and the cakes mouth watering and at such great cost. Husband works in town so he will be getting a list of wants to bring home for tea. Do yourself and favour and buy something.

Some super nice cakes to be had here for a really good price. Every now and then, when I walk past here, I have to come in and get a caramel slice or two. Really great choice and no regrets!

Best bakery in town! Absolutely addicted to their sweet chilli chicken kebabs which are huge, good quality and a bargain at 3 for 5.50!

My guilty morning sausage rolls are from here, then sometimes followed by their fried chicken for lunch....who doesn't love fried chicken eh.... *thumbs up*
