Best Baguette in Wellington hands down, Crusty on the outside without tearing the roof of your mouth, inside DEVINE softness and so tasty. I have been coming here since they first opened up and introduced hundreds of people to this little paradise. All of them still go there now, only problem is they are onto it and arrive 7.45am 8am. The Baguettes are hot or still warm. I once got there 9am all gone .( Food depression) That mistake will never happen again. I even have a small container with butter so l can munch on the ride home, hence my standard order 2 Baguetts. Hommer Simpson Heaven. All the other treats are delicious 👌

Still my favourite French bakery in Wellington, great product at reasonable prices. Their canelé are hands down the best in town. Their ever decreasing opening hours are the only fly in the ointment - I used to get stuff from there on a pretty much daily basis when they were open at 7. These days my visits are rare and far between.

The experience was interesting, for the price I wasn't expecting dry empty almond croissants, usually filled with a beautiful paste, I might try some of their bread however I would not go back for sweet things again, however the bread and curry filled treats may be worth another trip to go see

Amazing pastries... more than that I need to recant and incident that happened last week. I had forgotten my wallet and needed to pick up things for a morning tea. Not having enough time to go back, get my wallet and make it in time I explained my situation to the lady at the counter. She was AMAZING. She placed what I needed into a box and telling me she trusted me to come pay it before the shop closed let me have the pastries... As I stood there in shocked she hurried me on telling me not be late for my tea!. I did go back and pay her BUT it amazes me that there are still people who are kind trusting and just thoughtful...Thank you my dear! . Yet another reason why I love New Zealand and it's people!! JS

One of the best bakeries I've been to in wellington. I got a garlic bread and a baguette from them. The garlic bread I over cooked :P , but the baguette was fantastic. It was one of those experiences where you buy one, and nab a hunk off the end, and your reaction is "WOW!". Definitely a good place, go early, bread goes fast.

Le moulin bakery is the very definition of baked goods. Upon arriving at the unassuming bakery, I was met with a wash of heavenly aromatic goodness, evidently originating from the baked goods. This same aroma aroused the entire neighbourhood, drawing in crowds of customers at peak time, like a horde of hungry wolves. I don't blame them, the baked goods are simply fantastic, and would satisfy even the most pretentious of baked goods connoisseurs. I particularly enjoyed "star", and the hot cross buns - which were both crossy, and bunny. Le moulin bakery is similar to the film "The great dictator", without the dictator. Simply put, it's great.

The viennoiseries were excellent and probably the best I’ve had in New Zealand. They don’t take credit card though (just NZ eftpos) which means they also don’t accept any international cards (debit or credit) either.
