D.Appreciate the effort of Kelsey for helping me and my partner. Thank you. If I have to comment in a few things, It would be the process that is set in place and i would also add the communication. We are getting partial information during the application process on what we need to provide. It's like one document is required which we have given then this is followed by phone calls with other team members and emails with more documents required instead of giving us a full information upfront of what we need to provide.
I would also suggest an enhancement to the registration process where we have the option to upload documents or edit/add information to a profile. Thank you.

M. D.I was originally denied a top up to my loan amount. I find it difficult that lending agencies let you know that you can apply for a top up then deny the top up. It seems a method of keeping the customer on the hook with dangling the option and effectively drawing out the loan period and payments to the lending provider. Sorry if that sounds cynical. I would like an email like- 'You account is progressing well. Congratulations for keeping up with your payments. Please let us know if in the future you may need further assistance'
Later I was approved for the top up after looking through some of the figures generated from an assessment document of my outgoings. I'm glad that I was given the option to adjust the costings provided because they were not all assessed knowing my circumstances. For example, a cost of approx $80 for travel costs / vehicle expenses was way too high. That did not take into account that I live next door to my workplace so don't need to travel by vehicle, I walk to work.
Another costing was vehicle maintainence or something like that. My vehicle was new in 2021 and with very little travel needed during the week (shopping centre only 10 minutes away) the estimated costs per week were also high. These two examples of calculations alone effectively meant that it was assessed approx. $100 per week inaccurately.
On the positive side, it was great to keep working with the same person. The manager of my loan application kept in constant contact which was great.

I applied at ANZ bank and was offered a ridiculous interest rate, so thought I would look at other companies and lending crowd came through for me. They were literally 6.8% less in there interest rate and applying for a loan entailed way less than I did at the bank. It was all online and approved same day were I had to wait 3 days for the bank just to call me to go through the application process than they took 5 extra days to give me a decision and loan rate. Would highly recommend.

They are pretty inflexible in regards to term of the loan, and won't allow any other repayment periods other than monthly. Would be easier for budgeting to have a smaller come out each payday.

The proof of ID and vehicle security vetting processes where tediously thorough and, the amount of high level personal information asked for had me heading to FMA to make sure Lending Crowd were who they said they were.
All adding up to why they are so successful and their default rates so low, which is why I will oneday be an investor after I have put my loan funds to productive use.
