Been using this service of sending money to Philippines for more than 10 years now. But what a big difference with the time it takes to get to receive the money on the receiving end then and now! This week, I experienced astonishingly fast money transfer twice with Orbit Remit. I have been using Orbit Remit for couple of years, but their latest improvement is impressive and pleasing customers. The fund transfer carried out in just couple of hours. The time for their international release can compare with in country and same bank system transfer. The fund transfering process can be easily carried out at home with bank apps. I love the service OrbitRemit provides. I originally used my bank but found the cost far too expensive, actually having to pay two lots of fees. One from the bank it was sent from and another from the bank receiving the funds. Since I found OrbitRemit I pay only one fee of $4.00 and if I do the transfer early in the morning I have the accounts in my Australian account that evening. Well done OrbitRemit.

I love using OrbitRemit! Now I noticed they have some improvements in their service. It is faster now to send and receive money. I am with ORBIT REMIT for the past 7 years and the team never failed to give me advice and help whenever I get into trouble with my transaction. Just recently, I transferred money to my niece in the Philippines. I sent in the morning, New Zealand time, was available for collection early hours Philippine time, just barely two hours after I made my transfer. My recipient, who was still asleep, had already received a text that the funds is already for pick up. That is how fast and reliable Orbit Remit is. Unfortunately, my niece was not able to get the money because the ID she has with Cebuana Luillhier ( local pick up center in the Philippines) is only valid for local transactions and not for international. I got panic because my niece needs to pay her tuition fee that day which was the last day of accepting enrollees. I called the Orbit Remit landline number in Wellington but unable to get an agent. So I went to online chat. Was able to talk to Gin who advice me that he will get in touch with their Philippine bank partners to cancel my transaction and he will make a new transfer, address to a nominated recipient, which I did. Upon telling me that they can solve my problem, I was relieved. Next day I checked my online orbit account and indeed my funds is already for collection by my nominated recipient and my niece was able to enroll and pay her dues. Thank you Orbit Remit. YOU NEVER FAIL ME. MORE POWER TO YOU AND I WILL CONTINUE MY BUSINESS WITH YOU. I would like also to thank Stephanie who returned my call when I was not able to reach her on landline, left a message on my phone and sent me an email as well.

I just made my first transfer with Orbit Remit. It was super easy and fast, and I wish I'd used them sooner. The USA banks recently changed their laws, so my bank was no longer able to do a direct credit from my US currency account. My student loan payment was due, and I needed to get the money to them as fast as possible. It took two days to setup an Orbit Remit account and get the money to my USA bank account. The fastest I've ever gotten money over.

Great service as soon as your account is already created with OrbitRemit. If you are trying to go with OrbitRemit, create an account immediately and send it for verification to get it done sooner. For me it took a day, but I was happy as my transfer was not so urgent. Just one time verification, next time it's even quicker!!! Great interface design making it easy to use. I found their exchange rates as best compared to other online service providers. I used their services for NZD to INR bank transfer. Not sure about other currencies.

BUT, first time you must verify your account by uploading your passport, drivers license copies, this is not an automated process, so they take like 2 days to completely verify you. Then it takes only one day to get the money to my account. Not sure why some reviews say they are holding the money, might be they haven't verified them self? And the rate is superb, always over even the mddle rate of banks and very cheap flat fees. No any hidden fees. I have sent money twice with OrbitRemit. Not sure about customer service, haven't call them. But they reply to your messages sent from your account within like 2 days. That's ok with me compared to the higher rate and lower fees we getting. It is completely hassle free once you get your self verified I think.

I have made many transactions through orbitremit. Most of them reach the beneficary's account the next working day, unless there is a public holiday in my home country. At times, it takes 2-3 working days, but that's fine, as it's mentioned in their FAQ section, so I fail to understand why people complain if it takes more than 1 day. If you need money to reach in your account the day you transfer try transferring via banks. I love orbitremit as it gives best rates as compared to other companies and the customer support is fast in resolving issues.

I have used Orbitremit couple of times. Although the website is good, the customer service isn't. If you call customer service they don't have information about transaction so they forward the message to their team with customer details so that they can call back. I was transferring money from NZ to AUS. I have called the customer service number in Australia and NZ both but none has called me. The third time I called the representative appeared quite rude on my asking why nobody got back. I think customer service is the single most important thing when it comes to such web based services that involves so much money. The way Orbitremit deals currently is not reassuring.
