A great cut done by great guys. The shop has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere; everything is really clean and overall it's a really nice setup. The barbers are friendly and pay very close attention to detail, always making sure you are happy with the cut as they go along. Very accessable location in the heart of Kingsland and well worth the price to ensure you get a great cut 100% of the time.

Nice chill barber shop. Always greeted on entry, they take their time with their trade and could probably be diagnosed with Perfectionism. I've never been disappointed and always refer my friends. Isn't my local barber but it has become my regular!!

Being going back to Matt for a while now, to say he is good at his job is an understatement, the time, effort and attention to detail he puts in to make sure he has done a good job is just impressive. I always leave happy with the cut and often get compliments on the fade after a fresh cut. The general vibe and chat with Matt and the other staff is good, hence this is now my regular. Went to get a skin fade for the first time at this place and the service was great. Matt the barber took his time and made sure the fade was done evenly on both sides of my hair and gave recommendations on what to do next time. The service is amazing and the chat is even better, highly recommend.

Made an appointment and had Jose cut my hair. First time here and was definitely not disappointed! I don't know that I've ever had such a precision haircut. He took the time to get the details just right, even used the straight razor to go around the edges and make sure not a hair was out of place. Will be coming back next month! 👍

One of the better Barbers around, have been to a couple in Kingsland and this is by far the best, only thing I’d say is a hot towel would have been nice to clean off before heading back to work. Looking at other reviews, I may have to go later in the day next time to get a cold brew. All in all good banter and vibe (even though Matt had never heard of Barry White 😅). Will be going back again.

I always enjoy our chats and laughs, he works well with the rest of his team, goes the extra mile and does a solid cut for this fussy customer. Great cut and shave from Keegan (will be back to see him again) would have been 5 stars if I didn’t leave leave with a headache from one of the other barbers dogs. Poor form for $75 having to listen to that at 6 o’clock in the evening when you’re trying to relax.

I always get a great hair cut at Barba. The staff are always friendly. It's handy to the Kingslander (next door) which is perfect for a quick pint before returning to office! The booking system is easy to use too.

Awesome cut, guys managed to turn what's left of my hair into something even the wife's proud of. Great banter, professional and recommend to all. Also stock Triumph & Disaster products, which are a bit pricier than other stuff but if you fancy treating yourself they are well worth it. Just keep it away from teenagers. Always walk out feeling like a million bucks and a smile to match. Found my new regular barber (even drive from the Shore!)

For me, going to the Barber was like going to the Dentist as a child. Except, it wasn't the pain I feared, it was fear of what was going to be on my head when I walked out. My previous experience, with other Barbers I'd been to , is the Barber would ask me what I wanted and then proceed to do something other than what I envisaged when walking into the shop and asked for. Matthew not only asked what I wanted he actually listened. During the cut he would let me know what he was doing and how it would affect the end result and asked if the direction he was taking was the right one. I was shocked! For the first time, in my quest to find a good Barber, what I wanted and envisaged is exactly what I got. Incredible! I highly recommend Matthew and the team. Very professional in a cool clean shop. My Name is ALF Well, today I just had my third haircut from Matt at The BARBA's in Kingsland, the only place to live anywhere in the world of course. Men, (and women, I think they have a female Barber there now, best to check?) and Children you need to go to these guys. You get hairdresser style and service at Barber rates. Unbelievable! There was a child who was getting hairdresser attention to detail and who asked for a Harry Potter lightning bolt on the side. When the Barber, I don't know his name, obliged with amazing precision the child then asked the same lightning bolt for the other side and it accurately mirrored the first. They work collaboratively to help each other give the client the best haircut. incredible. I've never seen anything like it. If you're wondering why I'm talking them up, it's simple, I don't want them to leave!!! It'll take me a millennium to track Matt and his team down again. It will not be good for the world to see me in a state of hair disrepair. Trust me, I'm ugly enough without a Barba Kingsland haircut. Seriously, if you're not 100% happy with the haircut your currently getting from your current barber. Put aside your loyalty to him/her. you will not regret it. In fact you will be strutting the streets/bars/nightclubs with such confidence, the sun will literally be shining from the rear end and through those leathers even at night. If you're sick of your other halves hairstyle (embarrassed to let him/her out of the closet day or night) buy them a voucher and drag them screaming, by their ears/nostrils/ and or tongues to these guys . You will be the envy of your friends. Just keep an eye on your partner, or your friends, HAHA!!!
