I went for a haircut today. The hairdresser was a trainee. He does not know how to hold scissors, comb and dryer properly. His hands were very clumpy and throw things 5-6 time during 20 mins of cutting. It took me three months to grow hair and I showed him the style. He gave me a very different cut and made my hair short. He also made three cutting spots on my back and made a very uneven cut. On the top of it they charged me $45. I understand that everyone has to start from somewhere but you guys should tell the customer that he is trainee. Plus, should offer them free or discounted price if anyone agree to have service from them. Very unprofessional behavior. Second Review: David the owner, contacted me and offered the free haircut and refund. The other hair stylist was very experienced and he gave a very nice cut and fixed my hair too. I did not take refund but I am happy with David the way he approached me, apologized and offer the refund. I am changing my review to 5 stars.

This is a walk in barber shop. They usually have 2-3 barbers on at a time. The wait times can vary based on how many people are ahead of you. I always go in weekends and usually end up waiting 45 minutes. The barbers vary in quality, have had a few 10/10 haircuts and one 3/10. They offer a premium service with face towels and lots of optional extras such as a straight razor shave.

Okay so I visit various Barbershop Co barbers in and around North Shore. They are consistently good. Nice folk, very personable. Like the layout of the place. Not an issue with any of that. But today I visited the Takapuna branch. Haircut, beard trim and I bought my usual product. $95 bucks total. I was told the prices had gone up for hair and beard. Crazy price for a potential 3 weekly visit. Greedy. $30 bucks for hair and $15 bucks for a beard trim should be it. Have a think eh. Four stars go to the shops and the staff Not the greedy owners.

I live in Dubai and it’s hard getting comparatively good barber service whenever I travel. The Barber Shop made me feel right at home and are up there with the best establishments in Dubai and around the world 👍 These guys are great! Know what they are doing and great products too 👍 I even took my two year old and he loved it!

Gave this a 5 star rating 3 months ago and I haven't changed my mind since then. Didn't get the same hairdresser as the last time I went in but I could not be happier with the result. The hairdressers are very skilful and provide an excellent service (they might even throw in complementaries if you're friendly back), so I will certainly be going back again.

I was sitting at the waiting table, and I saw the employee cleans the EFTPOS machine right after customer done with transaction. Customer Service: 5 Star, super friendly and professional Skill: Top notch. Like what I mentioned, people love what other people are passionate about, the barbershop co. make me feel that my hair is a big deal; they are very passion about hair style and always aiming for the best outcome. I’ve got my hair cut by almost everyone in the Takapuna branch each person has their own style and is highly skilled with a chill attitude. It’s nice to go to a franchise as I’m confident no matter which store I visit, I’ll get a fresh cut and carry on with my week.

Awesome setup and great staff! I was a cut throat virgin until I went here - I went all out and got the full works (haircut, beard trim and line up) and it was well worth it. Having now been to both the browns bay and takapuna stores with similar experiences, Barbershop Co is my new local!

Driving through Milford and spotted this great looking Barber Shop. I needed a trim/cut. Stopped and went in (SUNDAY!) unannounced........and it was straight into a chair. No nonsense......great fit out.................shop felt great...............best of all! It was great! Thanks Dave, you are now my regular go to cutter.

Great place, worth the wait. Asked for a complete change of style at 5:00 pm on a Friday, and Michael delivered, even staying beyond closing time to ensure I got a great cut. Will be back!
