I was visiting Kirkwoods Barbers for the first time and it happened that Josh was also having his first day working there. Nice place and he's very polite and friendly. I got a decent cut and a few things didn't work out 100% great. Nothing major but I gave feedback on it. Josh went to such lengths to make it right that haven't experienced such before. I get it now why this place has such great reviews. They genuinely seem to do their best to deliver a great service and experience or die trying. Even the manager, Caleb, gave me a call and he seemed like a great guy too. You should give Kirkwood Barbers a try and ask for Josh! He'll take extremely good care of you. Thanks guys!

Had a booking with Caleb not too long ago. Very helpful and knowledge. The place was very clean and tidy, and the overall look of the store was clean, tidy and professional. My haircut was real good and even spot on with recommendations. I have been to numerous barbershops in Auckland, and this one is one of the best around Ellerslie region (and even Auckland). Plenty of parking nearby, and easy access. Will be back in due course

I’ve been hunting for a great barbers shop near me and this is it. Had beard &/or hair cut by nearly all the crew over the past few months and walked out looking sharp & feeling happy each and every time!

Cole is a Ledgend and a great barber, recommend this place in Newmarket for sure if in the area

This place is very clean and professional as well as being relaxed. I went here after not getting a haircut for 4 months and they gave me a nice cut. The service and people were also imaculate.

Caleb did an amazing cut, 💯 recommend. Will be taking my son and hubby there too. 100% worth it.

We went for first time - Great customer service from the minute you walk-in. Can get busy just before school starts as I saw lot of kids there. Hair Stylist Caleb was very patient with my 6yr old, even did a cool spiderweb design. Highly recommended!!

What a great experience! My first time visiting a barber and now I understand what I had been missing. A simple beard trim with a shave, but this feels like something to be done regularly. They are a slick, professionally run outfit and the young man in charge is great. Make sure to book though as they are busy!

Beautiful space. Skilled and very friendly staff. You can book online too, which is a bonus for me.

Not hating, just simply sharing my experience. Made my booking appointment 1 day in advance. Haircut was looking real nice. Till I was told that I had to be kicked out of my chair due to my time being up. 30-45mins. Unfortunate bloake I guess. Haircut and beard still had a lot of touch ups to be done but yeah.. Don't let my review ruin it for you. Still a great place for a haircut.

Great experience. The barbers know their stuff. Conversation is light and jovial. The atmosphere is open and pleasant. Book online so you can get the time spot you want. These guys are going to be getting a lot busier as word gets around.

Husband and son went there. Both walked out happy and looking great, hair cut done by Haiwhenua and Caleb. The place is spacious and squeaky clean, with good ambience. Thumbs up!

Great haircut, friendly staff and they go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable. Online bookings are good. $45 does feel expensive for a cut though. I would feel happier and sure to return for $40.

Ive just had my second visit and can say these guys know how to barber. Respectfully listened to what i wanted and delivered precisely. Best 2 fades ive had and trimming on top showed excellent skill. The place is well layed out and had a genuine friendly feel. Would recommend to anyone that wants to get get a proper styled cut.

Best haircut I've ever had, barber knew exactly what to do with my hair when I didn't. Very nice establishment and fun chats. Really nice to have a good barber in the area that charges a reasonable price.

I was feeling adventurous and frustrated with my grown out undercut so gave these guys a call. Friendly, professional, attention to detail, clean, well thought out shop....absolutely loved the decor and layout, the branded capes are stunning.. And the singing was pretty good too. I love my new undercut and will definitely be back.

A great place to visit with a great atmosphere and great people! My experience at this establishment was one of the best I’ve ever had! From the moment you enter the door you are greeted by warm and friendly faces. The barber I had this day was more then welcoming and gave me the best fade I’ve ever had in my life! A lot of great cuts got done this day! I will never wear a cap again! Just like the other reviewers have stated this place is the bees knees! Every one left the store with a great cut! Especially me 😄

Safe to say I have found my new barber! Nice clean and comfortable shop too. Sound and talented barbers.. if you need a beard trim this is the spot too. Highly recommend, A1 trim!

They give quality hair cuts unlike most barbers, these guys are worth your money. They also hella respectful and chill to talk to while getting a cut. If your looking for crisp hair cuts. Kirkwoods is the place to go.

As a female, going into Kirkwoods I always feel safe and welcomed . Both Whenua & Caleb have such amazing barbering skills I wouldnt go anywhere else . The space is always kept clean & customer service is always up to par 👌🏼 best cuts in East Auckland

Just had my bubs haircut there and they were amazing! Owner has also cut his hair before and was great. Highly recommend and so kind with my son. Tyeisha and Chris did the best job.

Drive past everyday on the way to work, decided to book in and get my Christmas/New Years cut. Highly recommend! Great atmosphere, best fade and cut I've had in years! Had my beard lined up aswell, really clean. Will be going back soon and dragging along my brother too! Book in online with Whenua to save time, looks really busy all the time for walk ins!

This Baraber shop is so good,they give you awsome custom Service as my son said he liked it when the Barbers gave us a drink and can see its always clean

It's the best in Panmure by far I reckon.spent a few hours getting my tattoos done in the ink studio then went upstairs for my usual haircut.All very clean and gr8 all round service and value.definatly be going back.Thanks crew.
