Hands down the best Barber Shop in the West and one of the best in Auckland or even NZ. Barbers are super friendly and skilled. This is one of the few places in NZ that I can trust enough to get a full beard trim or re-style. It's super easy to book through the system and there is no long waits.

Danny did an amazing job of my hair + beard for my wedding recently. My wife was in love with the beard and said it was the best it's ever been! His team also looked after all my groomsmen and my dad and they were also all looking very dapper and were happy with their cuts. Couldn't recommend this place enough if you're looking for the best cut of your life!

Took my son who had not quite turned 2 yet to get his hair cut at Nexus. It was his first time at a Barbershop and he does not like to sit still so was really anxious about the visit. Danny was really good with him, he was patient and knew how to deal with kids his age and he was able to give him a quick and clean cut . Excellent barber shop, danny and the team do an excellent job. The online booking ability makes getting a haircut easy. The cuts themselves are the highest quality. the training barbers are great as well who take the time to get things right and ask for input for senior barbers when needed. I have been going here for roughly a year now and will going no where else. Danny awesome job!

This barbershop is the best hands down. I’ve been to a few around Auckland. I receive email and txt reminders on the day of my cut, I walk in 5 mins before my cut and I’m always in the seat on time. When I pay at the end it’s so easy to rebook my next appointment at the same time. So so easy to manage. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, the vibes always happening and the PlayStation game in the waiting area make it hard to get bored as well as the big screen playing sport and some good tunes are always on. Great family feeling to the shop and it’s always busy ....that says something. Highly recommend if you haven’t been before, you won’t be disappointed.

Reason why this is a big deal is because I was nervous about getting my hair cut by a stranger, which made it difficult to choose which one to go to. Nexus Barber Shop made me feel at home. The team at Nexus did not disappoint for my Wedding preparation. I had 11 Groomsmen, 2 Page Boys and Myself (the Groom) that needed to get cleaned up the night before my Wedding. To make things easier my bro Danny turns up early to our Holiday House to start on the boys and we get a surprise turn up of his A Team Lewis and Wirimu after hours to help with the rest of the boys. My Mother turns up to see if everything is ok - and she couldn’t hold back the tears when she saw Danny and his team working hard.
