I recently had the pleasure of getting a haircut from Simone, and I can confidently say it was a 5-star experience. The ambiance of the place is warm and inviting, setting the tone for a great haircut. Simone's attention to detail is commendable, and his communication skills truly stand out. He takes the time to ask questions, ensuring he understands exactly what you want, and he's excellent at explaining his process. The conversation during the haircut is enjoyable, making the experience even better. Simone has become my new favorite barber, and I highly recommend him for a top-notch haircut and overall fantastic service.

The best barber service I have received and now will be my goto place to get a hair cut. Simoné is the guy you want to see to get your cut, he has an eye for detail. From the point of sitting in the chair he asked how I wanted it. Usually when I went to my other barber, I would ask for a zero to a 2 fade on the side and short hair of the top. With Simoné we went into great detail how I wanted the cut to be and I also pointed out to him that I have a noticable pointy area on the back of my head. Usually this would look like a triangle sticking out the back of my head but he managed to blend it in with the rest of my head. My wife commented how much better it looked after too. Upon finishing he offered product and I was given the option for a wet look or a dry look and him even explaining the differences. If you want a quality cut, this place is the place to go as its not a "in and out next customer" service. You'll need to book in advance and allow about 45mins.

Go and visit Simone at Parnell Barbers which has recently reopened (tucked away behind Aperitivo which is handy if you fancy a coffee and a small bite while you wait)! Simone is extremely dedicated to his craft and works alongside his customers to achieve the best result possible with high quality products. 5 stars for quality and affordability. Cool little barber shop inside Aperitivo coffee store under new barber Simone he has done a great job reviving the old space. My husband got a great haircut, at a great price, great atmosphere and great coffee! What’s not to like!

I found Parnell Barbers by chance strolling down Parnell road in search of a haircut. I was welcomed in by an exuberant young Italian, Simone, who sat me down and discussed what I wanted and then got to work. He took his time and did a great job. Simone only took over the place recently after cutting in Qtown for several years. He has done a great job on the decor and given it a secret hideaway ambience. It is even licensed so you can enjoy a free beer or shot of whiskey with your haircuts or a coffee. All this for maybe the best price In Parnell. I’ll be back.

Taylor was great! I started cutting my own hair after many times having left a Barber shop feeling frustrated because they didnt understand what I wanted or things got lost in translation somehow. But he was thorough and very attentive to detail and made sure to ask questions when he wasnt sure if I wanted a bit snipped off or not. (Which is great because my hairstyle is a bit unorthodox) Super happy with my cut, would definitely recommend. And to top it off, some great coffee on your way out!

Excellent cut with awesome attention to detail. I was traveling through Auckland and needed a trim. There was only 1 review for Parnell, but I get simple cuts so figured it'd be alright. It's a coffee spot with the barbershop in the back, so if there someone in the chair, you can get a get a drink while you wait. Ahmed (the barber) was great. He's good at what you need - cutting your hair. Very attentive, super focused on the cut, and checking in with you as he goes to make sure you're happy. Would definitely come back if I lived here!

A great baber. The conversations go deep and the cuts are short. Just behind the small cafe that adds a unique opportunity to have a coffee with your cut or trim.
