M.I’ve been going for a couple of years and all but one staff member provides consistently excellent cuts.
However, the problem is that their process during higher Covid alert levels is still a bit of a mess. In multiple instances, despite being the next name on their list, people without even online bookings can just waltz in before you and the staff don’t seem to care.
A.We first started coming here for our kids haircuts as they are awesome with kids. These ladies were the first hairdressers to do a really great cut of my husband’s hair too. Now I also get my haircut there and so does my father in law. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
C.While it was quick to get my haircut I was left feeling a little guilty for letting my hair grow to long
The Gentleman who cut my hair seemed to have all the personality of a 14 th century executioner.
Still it is not personality that a good haircut makith.
Good haircut but probably wouldn't race back
M.Knock it out of the park every time, it is such a pleasure to walk through the door and know you'll be leaving with a brilliant cut. Highly recommend.

F.The girls at Remuera Barber Shop are fantastic with kids - my son is now 10 and he's been getting his hair cut by Emily for a couple of years now. He goes to school in Kohi so it's sometimes a struggle to get him over this way - but he won't go anywhere else!! She listens to what he/I want and we get a perfect result every time. Easy access and plenty of parking out the back above New World.
G.This is a good barber shop where you can always expect to get an excellent haircut. You have to accept that you might get a different hair person on each visit but in my experience they're all good.

S.So I went here today to get a cut from my barber but he was out. The lady who then sat me in her chair decided to pass me off to another barber since she can't do line-ups. I tried describing my cut to the new barber and even showed him a picture. He first fixed my hair to see where the line was going to be and I said I wanted it a bit more slanted but he insisted because "he knew was he was doing". As soon as he shaved the line I knew he messed up. At this point there was no turning back. After a while I again tried to tell him I wanted the shorter side of my hair trimmed a bit more. I had about an inch of length on that side and he then proceeded to use a 0 on the shaver, I was almost bald on that side! In the end, 2 months of lengthening my hair was wasted, and I got charged more from what my other barber charged me before. I plan on just going short hair overall just to remedy the mess. But I won't go there ever again.
N.I have been getting my hair cut with Bayan for over a year now. He always cuts my hair how i want it and knows exactly what he's doing with different styles! Highly recommend!
