B.Definitely recommended! I've been to a lot of the top ranked barber shops in central Auckland, and this place is easily on par with them. In fact, my most recent haircut from the Fade is probably one of the best cuts I've got in a while. It would actually be nice to see the Fade get recognized by the likes of the urbanlist, etc., because they deserve it. I was very happy with my cut from Tony. Very good barber - the pleasant conversation was just an added bonus.
C.If you’re looking for a good barber, these guys are great. They don’t rush you in and out and always make sure you’re satisfied. After trying a few barbers over the years in Auckland, this shop has got me coming back ‘cos the cuts are top notch and booking is easy as online.
J.Great place to get a fresh cut. The barber skills were very evident in terms of being able to fade and cut etc. The thing that stood out the most however was the interpersonal skills displayed by the barber. (Tony) I didn't feel as though I was just another number. The genuine and authentic chat was made possible because the barber made the effort to serve and build rapport. Further to this, the shop was very tidy, and clean. The Fade Barber Shop clearly take pride in what they do and how they treat their customers. The online booking system is easy to use and understand. The prices are very reasonable and not marked way up like so many other barbers. As I was paying it was nice to see and hear the barber acknowledge the new customer that had walked into the shop. These little things count. Solid mahi!

Tony especially takes time to make my young boy feel comfortable when getting his hair cut - even giving him a lolly pop at the end. I do not live local but still go out of my way to go to the Fade . V.I went in today to tidy up a botched fade that I had gotten earlier on in the week by some one else. Willing to pay the asked price. I was served by the owner who fix my fade and was very professional and clean with his tools of his trade. As we were about to finish he said to me "NO COST BRO" as all he did was tidy up the mess that was made. AWESOME SERVICE AWESOME ATMOSPHERE GOOD CULTURE HIGHLY RECOMMEND. if your looking for a awesome crew and a place we're you can get the most professional fades look no further these guys a on point.

D.Visiting Auckland from Brisbane over Christmas. My 15 yo son and I walked in on Sunday 29th Dec at 1:30pm and only waited 10minutes. The two guys working were fantastic and just nice guys, talkative and friendly atmosphere. I have been to the same barber in Brisbane for 4 or 5 years and he is great but in saying that, The Fade Barber guys provided a high quality fade cut. Very happy with their work on my hair. Thanks fellas, I didn't get your names but you gave great service, conversation and attitude. Your boss should give you a bonus, seriously!!
U.I've been booking in via their website since the Lockdown. They keep to my appointment time and they comply to the requirements of the lockdown with Sanitizers and sign in sheets available.
Before my haircut, the barber Sanitizes all his equipment which was really impressive given the circumstances.
The shop itself is clean cut, and the atmosphere is inviting. Being an old school music lover, the music in the shop caters for everyones taste.
Really relaxed environment and the team are great conversationalists. Always an experience when I go in. Highly recommended.

S.I have been getting haircuts from this Barber Shop since they opened up!! Their staff are highly skilled, friendly and fast too! Sometimes they even have free water and soft drinks in the fridge for customers while they wait!! On that subject, the wait times are not very long at all, their prices are very competitive and their haircuts are the awesome!! Try them out, Highly recommended!!

o.Me and my 2 year old son are regulars here and generally speaking i have a great experience. Went in there again with my son yesterday to get a hair cut didn't have to wait at all and the service was great. Also they were very patient with my 2 year old son while he was getting his hair cut.

r.Barber who cuts my hair is a friendly and skilled barber, store is nice and they offer free drinks which is a bonus.
Negative is that the price for cut and trim is very expensive , $30 for a standard cut - after a trim and line up you will be paying around $40 or more.
HUGE let down is that they don't have any booking schedule, you show up and easily wait approx 2 hours to get your hair cut on a weekend. I have been going here for about 4 months now, each time I have waited over 1.5 hours. I highly recommend introducing online or phone bookings as many other places do this now, it's a big waste of time waiting for 2 hours for a 20min hair cut.
S.If anything.. the fade staff respect their customer. They spend sufficient time making customer hair look perfect. Thank you for such nice haircut. The wait it little long but it's worth it in the end.

J.I am a regular at the fade barbershop, and I’m not really that impressed by the way Tony treats his team. This isn’t the first time it’s happened, but I feel like they deserve better, maybe the team should the shop, or move somewhere else where.
P.First time going there was nervous at first but happy with their service razor fade was on point. Recommend fades to anyone. decent price for a razor fade $25 would go there again for a cut.

d.I gave 3 stars just because of tony who’s a gentleman and very professional, through the comments I realised that he’s the owner , I went there on morning time few days ago , there were 3 people ( apparently barbers) sitting and watching tv , guess what they asked if I had an appointment, I was a owner manager before and if a costumer comes and you’re not busy you never ask for if there is a booking we’re in a men’s saloon come on guys , my hair was extremely short and only needed a fade was charged 25$ which was a bit too much for the job done , anyway I thank the young man who accepted to cut my hair without a booking but TONY don’t let your staff get so slack and pay them to watch TV .

A.Good. I like that you have to make a booking online first so there's no waiting time. And you get a loyalty card - $5 off the 5th haircut. Other places don't do these things.
