Excellent service, by far the best experience I have had at a hair dresser. Bodie was incredibly professional and friendly, making it a really enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a well done and professional haircut.

I took my two nephews here to fix a cut that one of them received from their dad..... These guys are AMAZING, did such an awesome job on the cuts, so professional, very particular about the details. The space is cool too, really nicely designed with quirky/cool stuff everywhere. The kids loved their experience here. Highly recommned.

My husband (chris scott) got hair cut from Newmarket branch and very impressed with the skill and with experience. The shop is immaculate, very high class shop. Only one thing laying is the website as its not clear if it's not for the luxury hair style shop. Other thing about the website is that it does not have any products displayed which is very unusual for the type of hair shop as customers cannot check any products online. It's OK not to allow online products purchase as its another headache for owner but just listing all the products is easier and if customers like they can just come and grab it from shop. Just my recommendations 👌

Excellent service come from this barbershop. I would say it is better beyond belief. I haven't had my haircut for 6 months and I came in. The gentleman namely Aladen restyle my hair and it is absolutely gorgeous. Really love it. This must be the best haircut experience that I have ever had. Will be my ongoing barber from now on.

The online booking system is fantastic, so there is never ever any need to wait. While intially I found the cut price a bit steep, the shop is immaculately kept and both Aladin and Bodie pride themselves on giving the perfect cut, every cut. This means my hair grows out perfectly and I don't Need a cut as frequently, so it balances out the cost.Always happy with my services here.

I have had my hair cut by Bodie, regularly, since 2015 - and irregularly long before then; back when he was in Parnell, when I was a tiny tot... Bodie is very friendly, extremely experienced, and capable. He is customer focused (each session finishes with a lovely hot towel and some product), has that ability to know exactly what you want, and can work impressive pace (even my thick hair, which has taken others literally an hour-plus). It is always a pleasure to go to any of his salons. They are extremely clean, well decorated, have comfortable seating, and are generally lovely spaces. Tldr; You cannot be disappointed.

Bodie is an excellent barber, quick and professional I've never had a bad cut there in over 8 years, he keeps his salon clean and tidy and has great style and products. He also has a good playlist for music and good quality sound! And small touches like offering you water when you arrive and a hot towel at the end to wipe the hair off your face and neck.

After a disappointing haircut from my previous barber, I decided to try out something new. Seeing as I was already at Westfield making use of the awesome 2 hours free parking, I instantly noticed the sleek presentation of The Stylish Man. Upon having a look I was greeted by the very friendly Bodie (the owner of the shop) who kindly squeezed me in before his next appointment. He preceded to give me exactly the haircut I wanted, fresh fade and all - which can be tough to find these days - all while keeping me hydrated, hanging up my jumper, providing that lovely scented towel and making great conversation. At the end of the haircut I met one of his regulars of 19 years, and now I can see why. Awesome dude, sleek place, great haircut. I'm glad I found my new regular so quickly!

The staff are warm and friendly and the new store is very chic. The atmosphere is chilled out and quite welcoming which is awesome. Unfortunately the associate staff aren't always consistent with their cuts and this is quite disappointing considering you're paying a very steep $50, as for that price you should be getting excellence. I've unfortunately experienced this lately where I was left with a cut that appeared uneven and unfinished due to how fast they were working which resulted in them missing the finer details. I might not have cared too much had I experienced this at a regular cheap barber, however I expected more from the place that claims to be Auckland's best barber shop. That being said, I have also had my hair cut by the owner Bodie back before 277 was remodeled and once in Parnell before that as well and from memory he was much more skilled. Exorbitant price aside, if you're after a good cut, be sure to ask for Bodie specifically otherwise its a hit and miss.

I needed to get a haircut and usually go to my regular barber who I have had cut my hair for the last 15 years. He was unavailable and I needed a cut desperately, so I took my chances and tried The Stylish Man in Newmarket. I booked online and went with Aladen, as he was available first thing in the morning. All I can say is Aladen did an amazing job on my haircut, I walked out feeling awesome about my cut. Aladen was friendly, polite, listened to what I was after and took his time to get the cut right. The set up inside is pretty cool also. The hot towel and neck massage was a bonus, so if you’re looking for a new Barber, do give The Stylish Man a try. I’ll be back.

When I walk in I'm always greeted with water & it has a nice area to relax while you wait. Awesome location in the mall, convenient for my fiancee to go shopping which she waits. The atmosphere and music its like being in a gentleman's club, I really enjoy it! The shop also has the best selection of products that I recommend you try, they're really top quality. Also, I travel all the way from Pukekohe to Newmarket just to see Bodie. ~Bodie has been awesome every time I've gone to see him. I sit down and tell him "make me look good" and every single time it is cut and faded to exactly how I like it. He is the best I have seen I have never been disappointed. The cherry on top for me is that Bodie does not make you feel like you're just another customer. He makes you feel special with a cut that is fitted to you. Bodie has been cutting my hair (and my young son's hair) going on 4 years now. He's very consistent and very professional. The shop is also always very neat and clean too. Nice new mall and classy shop fitout, thought I’d give them a try. Result was ok’ish but vey expensive imo and lacked the attention to detail compared to Sylvia Park, Mt Eden and Parnell barbers I have used. Nice atmosphere and friendly team though.

Started off quite slow as the manager Bodie faffed about with towel and cleaning the counter. Once we actually got started, it was pretty amazing to watch gived the speed and technique of the haircut. Language is a bit of a barrier here. Also prepare to spend about $50 on a cut, which for a mens buzz, I thought was pretty pricey.
