Quite happy with the cut, if you know what you want ideally if you can show them some reference photos they can do a decent job. Ideally make a booking before going or you might have to wait an hour for your turn(unless they’re free then you’re in luck)

Our son got his hair cut by the barber who cuts Sir John Key's hair regularly. So we say if it's good enough for our ex prime minister then it's good enough for our boy too. Friendly staff. Good value for $.

Everything you want in a barber. I've been going here for over a year and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. The staff are always friendly and do a great job. They have fantastic attention to detail and go that extra mile like an old fashioned barber shop, with their hot towels and the cut throat razer (if you want it). Thanks Shah and the team!

Ultimate Barber is the best barber i’ve found in Auckland, very high quality and attention to detail, i travel from west Auckland to visit Shah every 2 weeks and I always leave feeling great!!! + Hot towels and a cold bottle of water for the road. Highly recommended!!!

I only write reviews if the service is above or below average. Having your hair cut here is a great experience you can easily incorporate into any busy day of your week, and it’s a bit like having a mini “spa moment” amidst the hustle and bustle of Parnell - for $25 you get a haircut and a scented hot towel in the winter or a cool towel on the summer. Shah is also courteous but not overly chatty, which is great because I’m not looking for a new best friend - I avoid going into my bank because they try to ham it up with me way too much and ask me questions that have nothing to do with my purpose there. He is a meticulous professional that stays focused on his trade, and gets me in and out of the chair in fifteen minutes. I brought in a cup of coffee, sat down and when I was out of the chair my coffee was still pleasantly warm. A great experience, at a great price.

Before meeting Shah, I had visited the same Barber for 5+ years. Unfortunately my previous barber shut up shop and I was looking for someone who could help. Bounced around to a few but wasn't truly happy with any of the others that I tried, but then I came across Shah at The Ultimate Barber Things that I liked: - he is professional, offered polite conversation and a warm scented towel - he uses a cut throat razor to get a really close shave - gave good advice on a style that would suit me based on natural hair growth - I can walk in without making a booking - big plus Needless to say, I will be returning regularly

I have been using this barber shop now for around 6 months. I needed a change as my old barber was getting slack and service was poor. This shop is great, easy to find location, service is outstanding and I'm always happy with my cut plus my beard trim. I would highly recommend it as the place to get a cut at a reasonable price.
