What a cracker of a barbers, you are greeted like a good mate and styled by well trained barbers that enjoy what they do, ask them anything I'm sure they have heard a few good yarns, highly recommend

.My husband is very reluctant to let anyone trim his beard. Anyway he was going for a job interview and Golden Blades did an amazing trim and it looked so professional. Guess what he got the job!!

Amazing barber lounge - I will absolutely be a regular. George gave me the exact cut I had asked for. He is very professional and friendly and has great yarns. The products he uses are excellent quality. The store is in a perfect location with free customer parking. You can tell George has put a lot of work into creating a comfortable and polished space for his clients as well as providing incredible service. Thanks so much! I look forward to my next cut.

Awesome barber shop! I booked an appointment with the owner, George, for a haircut and beard trim. The barber shop is very spacious and comfortable with nice big loungers to sit in while waiting for your appointment. The heritage building it is located in is a bit of a landmark and the barber shop fit out is very slick. George did a wonderful job of the cut and beard trim. Gave a thorough consultation beforehand with some good recommendations on styles to try. He certainly knows his stuff and was super friendly. If you are in the area looking for a cut, definitely check this place out - you may need to book in though as I believe they were all booked up a week in advance.

Brilliant, definitely will be back, the first barber in Christchurch to actually listen and help with a style that best suits, great job guys, go see these guys you will not be disappointed and the shop fit out has such a chilled vibe, like the old school barbers with a modern spin

Really nice barbers to walk into. Great setting. Friendly staff. The owner greeted us and sat us down to wait. Hair cut was very good with professional barber able to handle any Lockdown overgrowth and chat with anyone. Very impressed.

Really happy with my cut today. Listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I wanted. You are dedicated and passionate about what you do and this was clearly obvious through your attention to detail, the space you have created, and hearing your story during my cut.

First time going was about 2-3 weeks ago and the barber was an absolute legend, great banter, friendly service and a top notch cut. Place is very clean and welcoming. Would 100% recommend! Thanks again guys

Best barber shop in chch. HANDS DOWN. I was made to feel welcome and at home at golden blade, where George treated me like family. I wasn't sure what to do with my hair, so he advised me on what he thought would look good. I could not be happier with the cut, best I've ever had. I will not hesitate to reccommend these guys. 10/10 Definitely check them out.

My wife and I have been traveling for about two months from the states and we decided I needed a nice trim so as to not look like a wild animal. This place was immaculate. I got my hair cut by Kruiz. I've been on this earth for 29 years and Kruiz gave me one of the best haircuts of my life. If I had money I'd be flying him to the states just so he could give me a cut every month. I've never looked as fly as I have until he cut my hair. Also, their appliances are gold as the name suggest...super awesome place!

Great hairdressers just moved down from wellington and was needing a new barber went to these guys unsure of what to expect and loved the atmosphere and results will be my new local

The lounge is next level, a real premium experience. Cut by Cruiz, who payed great attention to detail which is appreciated in a saturated barber market. Cut exactly how I wanted and some good sharns.
