Went in today for my first cut in 2 years. My hair was very long and just wanted to cut it medium length. The barber said that it wasn’t really his speciality but he’ll give it go. He did a great job and will definitely be going back there for my next cut.

***Posting for my partner* went there for my first time yesterday. My partner sat in there waiting while I got my hair done. We absolutely loved it there. Made us feel welcome me & my barber had yarns like we had known eachother for years! He even fixed up my beard for free (while partner was giving me thumbs up in the background!) Environment bloody awesome & sounds groovy as! We will both definitely be back. Partner said "she is not your rehab" t-shirts made her feel more welcoming even though she wasn't getting her hair done she felt included also. Can't rate this crew high enough!!! Massive respects 👍👍👍

Thomas a Barber who cut my hair was a professional from beginning to end! Allowed me to quickly finish my food, gave me a great cut while taking time to get as close to perfection as possible and talked mad yarns with me about basketball. Will definitely be coming back!

Best place to get a haircut in Christchurch by far! They have the highest standards around and I would trust anyone on the floor to cut my hair. The team also go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome 😊

I cannot rate this place highly enough! I brought my two year old in today for his first haircut. I wish I could remember the name of the amazing barber who did his hair. He was so patient and kind. He did such and amazing job, even though it was a real struggle to do. The whole team was so welcoming, thanks so much we will be back (sorry hopefully he's a better client next time ;).

Been going to these guys for about a year now and do not regret making the switch from my old barber store. They have a friendly and welcoming team of guys that make you feel right at home while you get an excellent haircut. They all really seem to take pride in their work and I always leave feeling like a million bucks. Fair to say ive had some great yarns with the guys there as well. Could not recommend more!

Charlotte was so amazing. We were late because of traffic over dyers pass roadworks. She still fit us in and was really nice to us. Great service even though we were late. I really rate the people working here.

My Barber was very proffesional, did an amazing job with my long thinning hair. The atmosphere was friendly, and the place was very clean. I would highly recommend these awesome talented barbers. Sadly due to current health restrictions i couldn't get my beard done this time, but hopefully soon in the future. I would give it 5 stars but when i had to pay i found it was expensive, its not that the price was unreasonable its just that i was used to $15 to $20 cheap cuts so i wasn't prepared mentaly for the $70 bill. Again i would like to say it was worth it 😊

I have been here once before but I was a walk in client while visiting from Brisbane, Australia. I returned for another project and although it was a pain in the arse using the Facebook booking system I am not going to knock them because their staff have amazing skills. I had a last haircut of the night at 2130 when people could be pushing to go home but the team were friendly and professional. Would love to do some photo and video work with them in the future as they are a huge talent and Christchurch feature

Friendly and experienced people. Generally a little more expensive than a standard barber but worth it in my opinion. Pricing varies. Nice (and necessary) to have online booking available. Would recommend if you want a good (or original) cut.

Had a hair cut with Dan, did a very good job at giving me a tidy sharp haircut. The girlfriend loves it and so do I. Dan was also very friendly and easy to chat with, he loves his job! Love the people and love the place!

I came in to get a haircut about two weeks ago and was told over the phone the day prior that it would be a senior barber cutting my hair after I initially refused a less experienced junior barber. I soon realized into the cut that wasn't the case and by then it was too late so I left with a line in the back of my head where the fade wasn't properly blended in. Overall, it seems like a great shop with a group of talented barbers and even though it didn't come out the way I wanted my barber was still a cool guy. My only recommendation is that if you make an appointment with a customer and they request something like that to honor it and not just promise something to earn their business.

What a wonderful hairdresser. Going into the shop you are greeted with friendly service and a warm smile from the reception desk. The hairdresser who styles your hair is guaranteed to be friendly and fantastic for a chat, in my case David. David was fun and interesting to talk to, and styled my hair how I wanted it, making sure that it was, at every point, what I wanted it to be.

Great service, attitude... took my son who was having his first cut here, it was the talking point for the week with Mr junior wanting to be more adventurous on his next trip. Bookings are a must and worth it to pay a bit extra.

The place you definitely can expect a good haircut at. I usually get a haircut from Aku and I can tell you he knows what he is doing. Great job, a desire to be better and improve skills. While he's at it you can talk with him if you're into it.

WOW! I've been to nearly every barbershop in Chch whilst here working from overseas with my family. From the express cuts in the mall, to a basement, a caravan to the upmarket Barbershops. I have never experienced a cut and an atmosphere like MFB here, it reminds me of home with all the banter and conversations back at my regulars. They don't do walk-ins and have every right not to as these lads are jam packed. I walked in on the slight off chance and the owner cut me up in his lunch break. Just WOW! The attention to detail and pamper I recieved was out of this world. Matt is one of the most genuine humans Ive ever come across. I walked in wanting a haircut and walked out a new man inside and out. Thank you MFB!
