We always go to the shop on church corner. Friendly barbers and always such good, trendy haircuts. My boys hair is thick and and hard to cut, but always looks great and cut in a way that is super easy for them to style. Would highly recommend.

Came in last minute and was seen with in 10 minutes. My son got a comb over fade and it took less then 15 minutes! Absolutely satisfied with the results, we love it! The barber was great with my 6 year old son and made him feel very comfortable. Will definitely be back and recommend to all :) thank you!

I tried the church corner unit for a hair cut. There was no waiting time. If you go there ask for Fred, he is a great barber, very professional and he also cut my very quickly. We had a nice chat in the meantime . I'll be back again for sure! The place is very tidy and clean!

First time customer - Great service - Skilled barbers - Great advice on maintenance - Vast knowledge of hair and hair growth - Very friendly and welcoming - Quick A work mate of mine had a really bad haircut and needed it fix. He went to Wass Barbers and they did a great job fixing his hair. From that point on he only uses Wass Barbers and has been telling me for months to go see them. I’d had two bad experiences in a row so hadn’t been to a barber for over a year (I shave my head myself and only go in for my beard). I’d been trimming it myself and it was a mess. Uneven, long, way too thick and unmanageable. I went to Wass on Riccarton road and within 10min for being in the chair my beard had been beautifully cut, shaped and lined up just how I like it. Spot on perfect the first time Definitely one of the best cuts I’ve had and they are now the only Barber I will use. Thanks again guys, see you in a couple of weeks

Wass is setup in church corner and offers a terrific walk in Barber service, a very skillful barber in a relaxed setting you are going to very happy with the results, I had a cut and beard trim.

We went to the one on church corner for my little brother the guy did a absolutely amazing job, as my little brother is abit difficult with sensory issues etc. but it was amazing if you’re looking for a hair cut defiently the place to go to no doubts

Went in for a hair cut and bread trim today. What a place and what an owner. Super friendly, engaged with me well. Was interested why I picked his business and told him I had seen it on a TV program recently. Got chatting and he told me his story. What a remarkable man and true kiwi battler. Top Barber. Went from long hair in a bun to short fresh cut and Wass knew exactly what to do. His passion for good cuts was evident and his patience to get the the perfect trim was much appreciated. Great space for a cut and a truly epic experience. Definitely found my new Barber in Christchurch.

Was recommended we try the Church Corner barber van by a family member, very pleased we did. Unfortunately my 7 year old wriggled & squirmed the entire time but thankfully walked out with the best haircut he’s ever had. I was very grateful for the patience shown to my son even though he was being difficult, says a lot about professionalism & kindness 💕 We will definitely be going back and recommending to our friends. Great service! The best haircuts I have ever got in Christchurch, very friendly and punctual, all the guys here are absolutely fantastic! I would also like the make a special note that they are very caring for the special needs man I look after, and are communicative and clear with him, so if you have kids or adults that require that extra care these guys are perfect! Have been here multiple times and each time has just been great, thanks so much Wass and the team for such a great cut and chat!

My son (11) and I get our haircuts here. Wass is an excellent barber and a wonderful man. He provides a fast, efficient service and always top quality. As an added bonus he will color my sons hair with a temporary spray, which he loves.

I visited the Wass Barber Truck at Church Corner and I was very impressed. I am a local a few doors down and I've been meaning to pop down. I came down with my 7 year old and I was that impressed I went straight back within the hour with my teenager. The staff are so friendly and greet you instantly as you arrive. Very professional, very happy to see us and as we left they gave us a nice smelly to take away and lolly pops for the kids. I have found the barber I will be using from now on for my son's. As soon as my fiance flys home from his trip he can go to Wass Barbers too. One happy mama right here! Thank you so much. We will be back 👍

Was very quick, easy, and professional, he didn't really listen to what type of cut I wanted though... Took 2/3rds off the top instead of the 1/3rd I asked for and tried to tell me it looked better that way.
