J.I took a very good friend of mine in today. An 80 year old man who until last year, for 60 years had, had his haircut by his lovely wife who sadly passed. He was a bit apprehensive about coming in, but he was instantly put at ease with the relaxing environment and the lovely barber who took the time to have a good yarn with him. Thank you Jamie for the great tidy up job, he loves his trim and cut and will definitely be back.
J.Jonathan is the best barber in Dunedin. My hair has never looked so good! He is friendly and personable which means that each haircut is like a catch up with a friend. I absolutely recommend Jonathan and Hair Hunters.

P.I’m an out of towner. Initially I was a walk in but the wait was too long so I made an appointment for the following day. I was attended to by a chap with dreadlocks who was most personable & whom did a fantastic job! The shop was comfortable & I felt welcomed. I went to a couple of other barbershops in Dunedin who didn’t want my business. I feel Hair Hunters Barbershop deserve a glowing review.
** TIP: make an appointment, they’re busy & clearly highly sort after by the locals.

P.Went in without an appointment: no problem. Reasonable price, good job and interesting conversation with the barber. I'm down from Auckland and didn't know one place from another. I didn't care too much about getting a great cut, I just didn't want to look ridiculous. I really lucked out here; excellent quality, friendly service at a good price. Highly recommend.

N.Super nice and funny French barber. The atmosphere and decor are lovely, there is good music. Jonathan, is really invested in the philosophy of making his salon a particular space, not being just a random hairdresser.
On more practical points the appointment was on time (you can book online), I was happy with my cut, what could I want more?
