Autistic children and young people generally find having their hair cut extremely distressing because of their sensory challenges! I took my son here because it looked really quiet. I can honestly say that after approximately 10 years of battles while trying to desensitise him at various salons and barbers that the experience we just had here was by far the best ever! The barber was so calm, quiet and respectful. There was no fuss and for the first time ever, my son was relaxed, he let him cut around the ears and all. I felt the barber knew his condition immediately, either that or he’s just a kind, gentle soul with every client. Amazing! Thank you so much, we will be back despite the fact we live out of town.

5 out of 5. Great skill and effort went into the, clear to see they are passionate about their job. Very well priced, feel like they under charged. If back in Dunedin needing a cut this will be my place

Have been here twice, first time got a haircut but a middle aged man who did a very nice haircut and so I decided I would come back again. I just went back recently and got my hair done by who I assume is his son and was a little worried since he looked very young but he also gave me a very nice haircut. Will be coming back agian!

I've been here twice. The guy who cuts my hair is very friendly and has great attention to detail. The pricing is very good compared to other places in the area. I'll be back for sure.
